Winter Kiss Snowflake Table and Buffet
Comments (12)Thanks everyone for all your sweet comments. Nana, Jeanne didn't send TJ's new outfit she just gave me the knudge to change her outfit.LOL Kath, DD gave me the napkins and a center piece that match. Kathleen gave us a site that shows how to make them if you're interested. We could probably come up with it. I found this site that shows how to make them. I haven't shared a link in a long time so we'll see if it works. http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/elprojects/pdf/PR1522.pdf Candy, I bought the soldier place cards for Memorial, Verterns or Labar Day tables but set them out for this one too. Jane, I received a santa for Christmas that has these same colors and he is beautiful. Didn't think I should use him as the cp so will have to share him at Christmas this year. Karen, Can hardly wait till DGD see's TJ with her shades on. We bought her several pairs of glasses for Christmas at Clairs in the mall. She left 3 pairs here to play with. I bought some other lg trees at great buys that I will share with all of you when I have time. I had never seen these little trees with skirts that matched before so was happy to bring them home. The two lg pinecones are ornaments too. I had a late night at the office and drove home in a ground blizzard. It's been a long time since I've had to deal with this kind of weather. Pretty scary when you don't know where the road is for sure. Thanks again for all the comments. Punk Here is a link that might be useful: Christmas Tree Napkin...See MoreJack-o-Lantern Snowflakes
Comments (18)Kirk, can you get the pattern on here somehow, those are so cute. Would love to make some with my GK's. They have a nice large window to hang them in. Kids looks so cute & town looks friendly, you also have a great clinic in town, don't know if you know it or not!! My friends that have property up there had a serious problem when he got weak legs & your clinic there did a 1st rate job according to his dr. down here,so Norman Rockwell town with modern caring clinic where everyone was great!! Made a very scary situation much better, they thought they would have to go to Spokane when waitress told them to go to the clinic down the street! Anyway hope you can take a pic of the folded snowflake so we can cut some ourselves otherwise you may get lot of e-mails!! What do you paint them with? Thanks! Comments (23)Wow, OA, those chargers are fantastic and expensive! I think they could be made with wood with a scroll saw but it will probably be a lot of work. :) Ugh, I was at a dollar store yesterday on my way from Portland to Seattle where we stopped to get coffee. And it was soooooo much better than the one nearby. But, unfortunately, DH was with me and I just could not buy all the stuff I wanted. But, I did buy some green stemware so I was happy. :) They had so much snowflake stuff there - now I really need to find a bigger dollar store nearby. That was over an hour's drive from my house. LOL. Yatcher - I am going with blue and white too if I ever get the table done. :) Target has some retro blue snowflake dishes and stuff btw. Mo...See Moresnowflake tea party
Comments (4)My neighbor gave me a set of snowflake cookie cutters, (I think she got them from William Sonoma -- sorry about the spelling I think I'm a bit off). Anyway, a snowflake cookie name card would be cute. I have also seen at the craft stores, snowflake wax shapes, to be set into Gel candles. You could make a few of the candles and have them drawn as door prizes. This year I purchased from Linen and Things a white and silver snowflake table cloth. I also sent one to my sister (mine was 120 and cost $29, but the one I sent for her was smaller and about $19). Michaels had some lovely glass snowflakes, about 8 in a pack for $6. (I have these hanging from the doorknobs of my kitchen cabinets) I also have snowflake dishes, cups and serving pieces. I have seen (last year I think) snowflake paperware. But, I would consider the table clothes, or get white plastic and a metalic paint pen and draw the snowflakes on them, in a variety of sizes. Small rosebowls filled with opalescent marbles, white, blue and maybe silver, with votives lit to reflect through the marbles. If you can find the snowflake ornaments, one could be placed on each place setting and would also reflect the light....See Moredonnawb
