Where are these web sites located? In emails, on web pages? Can you click on this one or the link at the bottom of this post and do either work?

What program are you using when this happens?

I gave you 2 links to click - what happened when you clicked on them?
I asked what program you are using to go online - which? Internet Explorer?

I could click on the 2 links you gave me. Am using Internet Explorer. The web address is 'The Four Aces.org.' Can get on the site but can't click on the titles, such as shopping, music...etc.

Well now, you are talking my music from the 50s and 60s. That was the era of my misspent youth. Once I have replied to you I will be hotfooting it to Youtube, their music is linked below for you.

No idea why you could not get the links on that site to work, they behaved for me.

owbist nice to meet another 50's and 60's music lover. If you lived near I could set you up with some CD's. I made copies for the players upstairs and down and a copy for my car and put the origs away for safe keeping. Then I went to Bose MP3 CD players in the house and car, so I have a few spares in the reg format, but then you probably think making copies for myself is wrong. Tsk Tsk. I have 3 sets of 11 CD's in each set of 50's, 60's and 70's and of course 2 sets of country and they were all very expensive. But they have brought me so much pleasure, I call it cheap therapy. LOL

When all else fails, try rebooting your computer and see what that does.

Might you have another browser you could try besides Internet Explorer?

When you speak of 60's music my favorite channel on DirecTV is #803 XM radio 60's on 6. It's on all the time as it is right now. Admittedly on a rare occasion I will visit #802 50's on 5.

I never support product piracy for sharing or financial gain. However, when one dupes a CD for personal use that's fine in my book. It better be as I do it regularly so I can have copy in my truck. A half hour ride to work each day in a somewhat poor reception area and less than top-notch rural stations to begin with requires a lot of on-board music.

I went to the web site "thefouraces.org" and it's a very basic web site. You can't order anything on the web site. They list their merchandise, but you have to decide what you want and send them a check by mail to order. If you were trying to click on the various listings like the CD "A TIME FOR US", you can't...it's not a link. When you see something on a web page and you place the cursor on it and the cursor does not change to a hand, it's not a link. Does this explain why you were having problems?

I tried to click on the titles on the left side & a hand came up, but it didn't open. Am trying to buy a CD, which I was told you can on that site. But I can't open it, so guess I can't buy one.

This is a perfect example to you, and of course others, why it is recommended here regularly to have more than one browser available to the user. When there is a concern with your primary browser you have an alternative. I currently have three up-to-date browsers while some members have even more. They don't conflict so there is no reason to be concerned about having them. You just have to make one a default which can be changed at any time.

Is the link below the page you are talking about? There are several live links on different parts of that page, but none of them open a window to order anything. And there are no live links on the left hand side of the page where the titles are listed. There is nothing wrong with your browser. As I said, this is a very basic web site, and it looks to me like they are selling products out of one of the singers' houses...by mail only.

all I see to click on are the 2 small cd's at the top which are supposed to be song clips, nothing at all on the left side of the page, then at the very bottom a group of items that can be clicked like biography etc and an email link, that is it period. No where to click to buy.
