Onion seed is black and so you might be able to see the seed that already scattered on the ground, if you look closely, and pick it up. Or just leave it alone and let nature take its course and you will have seedlings in the spring, maybe. I don't know about Alaska, though, the winters are pretty long.

I would recommend against it for saving the seed. Being LousianaGardener says they are still moist, I'm assuming they are not at the end stages of ripeness. If they are moist, they will become shriveled and be of no use for next year. Now if the seeds were almost ripe with an outer shell that was starting to dry and the cowpeas were pretty firm and almost ripe. I would say give it a shot. The germination rate would be lower, but you would have some successful germination next year. So waiting just a little longer on the pods on the plants is so worth it for saving the seeds. Remy

on the actual image you are wanting right click and select save image as when the dialog box opens select where on your pc you want to save the image to like desktop or in My Pictures folder, just remember where you stored it, and hit the save ok. Next in your email that you are composing click on the attachments button at the top of the email, when that dialog box opens browse to the place where you stored your saved image, click that image name to select it then click to save or open or what ever it says there at the bottom and then you should see where it has added that location address to your email in the attachments area. To see if it is working I suggest you try it by sending an email to your own email address and see how it works. You have to save the image to your pc fist you can not send it directly from a webpage.

If you dont see the greenish Documents.lnk that only sometimes appears for downloads, you can browse for it. I go to "C:\Users\mike\Documents" But I have to admit,, its rare I would save something to Documents. I almost always use the c:\anyFile folder for downloads and frequently delete the left overs from there and the user default downloads folder @ "C:\Users\mike\Downloads".
