Can't fix this problem - need help!

I've ben trying to figure this out for the past few days. I'm unable to view images. If someone sends me an email with a you tube attachment - I click on, the you tube screen comes up but it is blank. It seems I can reach a site but if there is any type of video attached I cannot open it. Also, for example I was trying to buy something on line - got to the site, was able to choose the item but could not get any further - would click add to cart but thing happened. Same thing on Dell site - looking to buy a new computer - able to get to pick out what I wanted, but when I tried to click on to the next screen could not go forward. Scanned for a virus - none. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Have you updated flash on all of the browsers??
Clear all cache and temp files on them to.

What browser are you using?

I had a mission fig tree that I gave up to my school science building in NH when I moved and it is still alive, it lost and regrew all of its leaves at once and was never put in the cold. i used a moen toe-tap drain on my new tub & it came with one rubber gasket. moen told me it went on top/on the finished surface, and that we could putty beneath if we wanted to but that it wasn't necessary. when we tightened it, it smooshed down pretty good. i guess i have a slight dip, but i've had them in other showers/tubs, and my sink has it too, from silicone under the drain piece. as long as it's not leaking & doesn't interfere with using the shower, i personally wouldn't worry about it. lisa

sombruel: not sure what you mean by bead molding? How would I find an example of that? rnmomof2 (if your name means registered nurse mom of two, me too!) I don't think either approach will be a problem with the counter. Recessed certainly wouldn't be and if it ends up pulled forward, it would only be 1/2" or so. LWO: are you saying to pull the cabinet to the right of the stove 1" towards the stove? If so, we can't do that because that cabinet goes all the way to the wall and the corner relief is built into it. If we pulled it over, the 3" corner relief would be out of plane to the face of the sink wall cabs around the corner. This guy builds everything he can as one unit, rather than separate base cabs, e.g. my sink base and pull-out trash base is one cabinet, etc. Unless I'm not understanding what you are trying to get across to me? The range will be absolutely centered under the tile, we're going to have to move the left cab down to create the same gap as the right and then fill them equally. That's really all we can do. Thank goodness we have a little wiggle room with the left cab!

If the DW is new, you should be able to trade it in and get one without a handle. Those tend to be the higher models, so you are likely to have an upgrade cost as well as any restocking fee you might get charged. If it is new but you cannot return it or GC cannot use it in another home, you could sell it. The Chopping down drawers and filling in holes left will be a lot more time and work for a lesser solution. If the specs truly didn't show a handle, you should try to get the supplier or manuf to swap it out for one that doesn't have a handle. If your GC read the spec for the wrong model or looked at only art of the informaiton availabel and missed it, he should bear the cost.

Thanks very much for trying to help me. Tried all suggestions nothing helped. In order to try and solve the problem I signed on with a company PC Solutions (which I now think is a scam) and they are telling me that my computer is filled with viruses and for I forget how much money they could fix all the problems and I could keep this computer for another 5 years. That if I bought a new computer all my problems would be tranferred to my new one. The guy was scaring the hell out of me. Told them no - Now, I'm going to tell you how little I know (no laughing please) - is what he said true? I planned on calling Dell and ordering one of the new all in one computers - the most inexpensive model - which I think is about $600. Thanks.

Again, what browser are you using? Have you tried it with more than one browser? If you only have IE, it is really simple enough to download another one. You would still want and need to keep IE though.

What you have been told is a real scam, and they're just trying to scare you into paying for something that probably will really mess up your computer. Do try another browser other than IE, and see if that helps.

I don't enough enough about the company, PC Solutions, to say they are a "scam" but they certainly are using high pressure sales tactics and deception to entice you into making a poor decision. If you've given them any money, I would suggest taking the necessary steps to cancel their service and get a refund.

You problem with sounds more related to an issue with how your browser is processing scripts and perhaps cookies rather than anything nefarious. The unfortunate reality is that a fair number of folks, in some here, erroneously assume that everything that goes wrong with a computer must be a virus.

The easiest solution may be just to try another browser. Firefox and Chrome are both excellent choices.

I can probably fix ya remotely quickly. I'm cheap unless I have to do alot.

Thanks again. Switched to Firefox - problems still exist. Computer is over 5 years old - may be time for a new one. Don't know what else to do.

I would just go for the new pc instead of throwing good money toward a machine that old.

vnw232 is right. Called Dell last night and ordered an all-in-one computer - not the touch screen - and a new wireless printer. Thanks again for all your help.

Have you updated your browsers flash to the latest version? There is one for ie and one for FireFox you must go get the appropriate one while using that browser. Using FireFox, Google flash non IE version. Install it.

Using IE try disabling all addons.
