Help to Fix a Potential Problem with Shed Base

Tom M.

Hello. I am almost done with leveling and installing a 12 x 14 base for my 10 x 12 shed. In my excitement to get started I may have not thought through the whole project. My whole property is not level as you can see in the pictures. The first two pictures show I had to add fill dirt to level the area. I have already leveled the fill dirt for the base. Next step is to add landscape fabric and then level 4 inches of 3/4 inch crushed stone for drainage. The back of the shed base is 16 - 18 inches high and 15 feet wide with a 6x6 pressure treated that still needs to be leveled. My question is, can I keep adding fill dirt to slope the area in the back of the shed base. The back of the base is 10 feet from my property line and within the town's setback. Or should I install something else to keep the shed base from failing?

Thank you for your feedback.
