Very pretty! To put the picture in a post, go to the picture and put your cursor on it, then the drop down menu for that picture will appear. Click on HTML Code, and copy it, and paste it here. Voila!

oakleyok - thanks for that very helpful tip. That will work so much better. Gonna give it a try.

jane - yes, it is one long garland, but I usually cut my garlands into thrids to work with them easier. Same goes for the berry garland. Thanks for the kind words.

Where did you find that burlap ribbon with the gold trim? I like that very much.
Clever idea with cutting the garland in thirds. You're right, that would make them so much easier to manage and also layer with other things.
I bought a new garland from Michael's a last month. I put it away, Somewhere...and for the life of me, I can't figure where! Too many places to keep tract of. It probably will turn up during Christmas!! lol

slinkey - I bought the burlap ribbon at Michael's. It was found on the same aisle as the raffia, etc. It is actually two ribbons, the burlap is paired with a french wired ribbon.

I do that all the time - buy things and put them in a "special" place so I will remember where I put them. oy!

Beautiful fall mantle! Love the turkey plates too! Never thought about using them for displays. You've given me some ideas. My fall stuff is really sparse -- just a few pumpkin candles, filling the dining room bowl with leaves and small pumpkins, etc. I'd love to do more, but just can't figure out when the fall stuff goes on sale. I'm talking about 50 - 70% off type sales. I looked right after Thanksgiving last year and there was, of course, Christmas stuff already deeply discounted!

That is a beautiful display. Love the topiaries.

pdg777 - places like Michael's already have most of their Fall stuff 50-75% off right now. It is getting picked over.

Stuff is getting picked over at Ross, TJMaxx, etc, too but I have not noticed it on sale yet. I think Walmart is on sale for 50% off right now, too.

Barb, your mantel display is wonderful! The turkey plates are lovely and really make the seasonal statement. I really like how you thought to have them at different heights by putting one on books as well as separating them with the books. Everything is so well thought out and I know that doesn't just "happen"...it takes a lot of time tweaking! (or maybe you are a pro and can whip up a gorgeous display like that in no time!)
