Judith, are they the ones with the beaded edges?

Kathleen, no, they are the plain ones. They are ones that I used in my Fall and Christmas "stacking plates". Since some people were not able to find them last year, I thought I would give a heads up incase folks have a Kohls near them.

Judith, your Fall stacked plates are what got me started on doing them. At that price, I should go get a set, I've just been putting plates and candleholders together for mine all year. Thanks for the "heads up". Luvs

dd50, I know what you mean, I had once gone to a store so often when I was looking for something in particular, that one of the store workers thought I was "security"! LOL

I can't find them in my store, was there for a few days and no one thinks they carry them. Looked on web site and didn't see them. Judith, did you find them with the dishes and glassware?

We live in Griffin. GA. my husband and I went to Kohl's Saturday and looked all over the kitchenware and even had a lady help us. She said she's never heard of them. I was so disappointed. I wanted that to use for holidays. We go to Michigan for Christmas, we have no family here so my husband won't let me put up any decorations. I have so many Christmas decorations in the attic sitting. I thought at least the stacking plates would give me a little decorating for the different holidays. I could never do as well as Judith and some of you ladies decorating it.

Linda, do you have a Linensnthings? They have them! I got mine there. And you can use your coupon, even on line I think.
Yes, that would be a nice way to add a little Christmas to your home.

dd50 and craftylinda59, I went shopping today with my DD, in a different town, they have the set of stacking plates at "Ross", do you have a "Ross" in your area?, they were cheap there too, they were in the front part of the store with some of the Christmas dispay. I hope you all find them! I have found them almost every year at Bed Bath and Beyond too, try checking there.

PS to Linda, I am sure you will do very nicely, all the ladies that did them here, did a wonderful job and it was their first time too, you can do it. Did you see my mini- tutorial on it?

Thanks Judith. I will try to get to Ross tomarrow. Linens and Things and BB&B maybe sometime this week as that is in the next town.

I saw 4 or 5 boxes at my closest Ross on Friday..I believe they were 13.99 as well.

Okay. my husband and I went shopping most of the morning.
We went to 2 Ross stores, actually 1 store had a pink set with the ridges around the edges. Then we went to a store called "Linens & More" none there. We looked in "Bed, Bath & Beyond" "Sears" "J.C. Penny" "Macys". Tomorrow we will
go to another "Ross" and "Linens & Things". I forgot about this other "Kohls" we have. Will check that out too.
We do have a "Garden Ridge" here, don't think they would have them but its by the "Kohls" This is disappointing.
My husband was wondering if we could order a set on line anywhere ?
I hope you other ladies looking for them
have better luck in finding them.

Did you try Linensnthings on line? I think I had suggested that and mentioned you can use the 20 off coupon too! Might be easier than running all over the place, too.

To: kathleen li and judithva, I looked up the online "Linensnthings" last night. They do have the plate set. My husband ordered it this morning to be shipped to our home. I told him about the coupon but he had already ordered it. So now I will have it when ever it gets sent.

judithva - Your plates are gorgous!!! But could you tell me what your tree topper is sitting in??? Is that another plate turned upside down so that the base of the ornament can fit inside?

Kellyleeann, thank you, the tree topper is sitting in a clear glass "sundae cup" from Walmart, they are about $1.00 each, they still carry them at my Walmart, just look in the plate/dish aisle.

What a great day, my stacking plates came in the mail today!!! judithva, I had your tutes printed long ago but my ink ran out in the middle, it looked awful. Took me a long time but found the page and reprinted them. Got them now. Some of the old post the photos are gone. Not yours with the "Fall & Christmas Decorations" If anyone wants to see it or read it - "Crafts & Decorations" page 28.

oop,s, sorry about where to look for the tute's of judithva's. Its the "Holiday" post on page 28 and says "Fall & Xmas ideas, it's 68 pages to print out. I printed on both sides of my sheets of paper to save on paper.

Meijers stores, none in Georgia that I know of.

craftylinda, I am happy you received your plates in good shape, I always worry about receiving "breakables" thru the mail, last year one of the ladies here ordered the stacking plates from Target if I remember correctly and they arrived broken! You will have alot of fun with these, you can use them for alot of occasions and like Kathleen said, they look really nice with food too!

judithva, I was worried about having them shipped, my husband didn't feel like running to any more stores. I set them up right away to see what they look like. The sundae cup I had already bought. It's true about being able to use them a lot. I just love them and right now they're sitting empty. I have a baby girl photo album almost done for the new little grandaughter. Got to get busy with the 10 grandchildren and great-grandaughters Christmas pails or cans done. Christmas just seems too close.

Sounds like you are set to go then with the stacking plates...now you get the fun of buying the pretties to go on them.
Wow, you are one busy woman, that is a bunch of grandchildren, not to mention the great granddaughters! How are you designing the Christmas pails, I am sure we all would love seeing them when you are finished!
