I think I know what you're talking about. We've been planning a spring swap meet over in another forum, and have discovered that the "send me an e-mail" function on the member pages seems to be fouled up. Messages sent that way end up somewhere in Nevernever Land. Personally, I opened a new email account with Yahoo and then posted the address openly and put a reply on a thread asking the poster to email me at that address. I used a non-traditional format when posting the address to hopefully foil spam harvesters - example: myname AT yahoo DOT com. (I've been warned that the spammers' latest trick is a program that scans text and picks out anything that shows up in the usual email form, like Idont@like.spm.) Bottom line - GW email is broke - don't use it. When it was working, the email would come to whatever email account you would enter when you registered as a member. Hope this helps.

Problem is solved. The volume level for SW Synth was not set high enough, so it was as if muted. Got the answer from a MS forum.

Good Sunday Morning. Although I've had a computer since 1990 I never learned much. First of all I'm still running Juno 5.0. I tried Juno 7.0 a year or two ago and didn't like the format. So, I got a 5.0 CD and that's where I've stayed. I downloaded IE7.0 again but this time into a different file (one hour and 20 minutes on dial up). Then I deleted the IE7.0 I originally downloaded. Since then my email came back and the entire Juno 5.0 system is working except for a few quirks I can live with. I have not activated the new IE7.0 so I must have another IE running somewhere in the background or my system wouldn't even function. Right? I would like to load IE7.0 but am afraid things will again go to pot, so to speak. But, at least, I know if I have to delete it I won't be dead in the water. Maybe I'll give it a shot one day but not for a while. Thanks, again. Gene

I don't think this is the case, Pam, as I was able to view them in OE up until a couple of weeks ago. I also am not able to view in Windows Live Mail on my Win 7 machine as I had formerly been able to. Very annoying, since I hate having to use my browser to read e-mails. I also downloaded apps from the site when viewing the e-mail notification. I believe I'll re-install java and see if that is the problem.
