OMG Punk, that's really neat! Those fingers look so realistic that at first I thought they were part of someone's hands holding the broom up for the pics! Love your not-so-scary witch, too! Gosh, I really enjoy seeing all these great decorations and ideas. I'm so glad you're sharing them with us!

So happy your back and hope you sent DS off with all our thanks for his service to our country. How's your tooth doing?

Well I can tell you are a lady with a sense of humor. The lady who made that is in her 70's and she was so proud of her creation that I had to buy it. She whips me up arrangements at the last minute, is always fun to work with and does a great job.

I painted a tray with yellow roses on it and thought of you with your table setting with the yellow roses.LOL I posted it over on the decorative and tole painting forum under gallery if you want to take a look. I could of posted it here too but didn't get much response when I posted my blue rose tray and thought maybe most want to look at what's in season now. We post out of season all the time over there and we all seem to enjoy whatever.

Cute witches. Did you cut out the shape on the first one, before you painted it? The second one has a sort of 40's look to her, and reminds me of an old time actress. I can't recall her name. I like her look, she's different.

Glad you liked the fingers.haha My DH does all my cutting for me and yes he did cut out the witch and oval. I think the actress your thinking of would be Marilyn Monroe perhaps. Funny, I didn't even think of that until I read your post it was there loud and clear. How Funny. Is it the blond hair or the look?LOL

My grandkids would love that broom, they like gory movies too, NOT FOR ME though. Cute idea, never saw the black leaved garland & painting the broom handle black, whole new way to do a fall broom!

Anyway, with this Witch, I really like her style!

Luvs, I am still laughing after reading your post. Did I mention I don't have any fingers on one of my hands???LOL They do look pretty real. You'll have to paint a witch and we'll have matching decorations.

Yachter, I agree with the black garland and the black handle on the broom. Ideas are endless when we look around. You'll have to show GK this picture and see what they say.LOL

Jane, have you thought of who that witch reminds you of? DH loves to cut so sometimes when I ask for 1 he cuts 3. I have so much to paint on, I will never catch up. Years ago we set up at craft shows and I sold in a store so I guess he was use to the orders.LOL I'm so much happier just giving my painted items away now. No stress!

Punk, too funny about the "finger lady"! I saw your yellow rose tray on your other thread. You are so darn talented, Lady!!! Love it! Thanks for asking about my tooth and my sweet son. The tooth is doing great . . . thank goodness! I was really worried about it. The ceremony at my son's graduation was wonderful and so was our visit with him. We're so proud of him! He's now in Ft. Huachuca in Arizona for more training. Missouri's forests were beautiful, but he's really enjoying the warmer weather now.
