Would Dollbaby, Teagan and TJ like a couple of big sisters?

Hi everyone! Gosh, I have missed y'all and am still wondering why I've been gone from here so long! I've spent the last few days catching up on all the posts and enjoying everyone's fall and halloween decorations.

I see there are some new babies around now. I know Dollbaby is tickled to have new friends to play with! Do you think Dollbaby, TJ and Teagan would like a couple of big sisters?

Here are my babies...although I guess they're more like toddlers. LOL

Malisia and Melinda are all decked out in their costumes and can't wait for Halloween so they can go trick or treating.

Right now, they're just hanging around with a plate of Halloween cookies while they wait for the big night.

Melinda is planning to be a fairy when she goes trick or treating.

Malisia has been playing dress up with part of Mommy's halloween costume.

I know they would love to hang out and play with the babies while they wait for Halloween to finally get here!

here again too.

Your little girls look darling in their costumes! If I am remembering correctly, they always are dressed up by your tree for Christmas? I'm glad you are joining in with the three toddlers here! I can hardly wait for Teegan to arrive. But maybe I'll find her a Halloween costume meanwhile.

You sure gave me a big smile today.

It's been a busy, busy day! Just let the 'babies' in for the night! Spent a little more fun time with 'Arrant!' Told him he has only to get through tonight & tomorrow & then it will be time to see the Dr. I don't think he's too happy - growled! lol! Gets his bath tomorrow, brushed, & his nails trimmed. He'll be ready! Me - I'm just trying to stay in the 'positive' mode! :)) Thanks for the prayers & comments everyone!! I appreciate them very, very much! Made my evening (or should I say 1:58 am) seem a little better! Thank you!! You guys/gals are TOPS! Nephew's doing better! He'll be seeing the family Dr. on Monday as well! A busy day Monday! I'm also taking a vacation day Monday - not sure what to expect?? I hope all goes well! Everyone - give your fur-babies, cats, kittens, birds, reptiles, whatever the case may be (even tropical fish!!) - a HUGE & very tight hug!! It makes you feel very 'good' inside & it does make a difference! :)) Love you all! Mike

Thanks jane, candy, punk & nana ... I enjoy changing things out ...& it's funny about that squirrel...must be an 'Enabler' thing (punk)in the back of my mind! That squirrel called to me & here you have it, Jane! I know I've seen yours!!! I really bought it cause thought it might be part of an arrangement in that new 18" cloche I showed you all awhile back...but it was too small & the candle ring was too big ...looked all scrunched up! ;-) It is painted gold with maybe antiquing dark brown over it or else it's vice versa w/dry brushing. candy...we have summer weather for this week! Am loving it ...but so do the 'bugs' this time of the yr! ...the little specks we call 'no-see's' were horrible today when DH & I worked ont he porch siding! But love the WEATHER anyway! nana..the Jewel Tea & that corn husk print are things that I do love ...because of family connections, I guess...enjoy adding good memories! I did do some tweaking already...moved flowers/basket & owl to top of old treadle sewing machine in LR & put that brown linen cloth on table w/soap mold candles & those stained glass 3 leaves ...like I did last yr. I didn't say I *hated* the Heritage - just wouldn't have been what I would have picked as my everyday set if we had registered, or if we'd even had any money when we got married and I had to replace my set of 16 (4 plc settings) Corelle. Since then, we still haven't had the money to spend on replacing perfectly good (OK, a few chipped but I got rid of cracked ones) dishes. The serving pieces are a bonus and do come in handy, though I wouldn't use them with anything else except another heavy looking set. So when the plates go, the serving pieces go. I don't have to have matching serving pieces, but if I get Filigree "everyday" dishes, I would like some large serving bowls (preferably covered) and a platter that are similarly delicate since I don't have good china, these would have to serve as my "having people over for dinner" set too. And I hate the idea of going out and spending $25 for a non-matching platter at TJ Maxx when I can get the Filigree one for $20 or so anyway. If I got nice white (Filigree) serving pieces, I would probably use those instead of buying matching china serving pieces when I did get around to buying china. I already mix in some silverplate at the holidays when I use the Heritage. I would love to find some V&B - my sister got some as her "everyday" dishes from MIL. Of course, her "good" dishes are Wedgewood. There are also some Lenox patterns of china I like, though my favorite (would be too afraid to use it) would be antique flow blue. I have only used the tureen once since I bought it (for the plate that came with it!) at Goodwill a year ago, but the covered dishes (casseroles?) and the platter get used whenever there are more than the 4 of us - the platter even with just the 4 of us if I make a big roast or a whole chicken.

We gave my younger son a new chainsaw...the older one got the equivalent of cash...those were both well received...now if it would just warm up a bit so DS can get out there and saw up some wood for our fireplaces... I was at a small leather store in Indiana in september and had a notebook made for my hubster with his name on it...he writes everything down for work and really loved it...We gave my son and his gf dollars for a cruise this summer and they loved that! I sent my sister an 11 x 14 framed picture of her entire family from their 60th Wedding anniversary party in October plus a bunch of 8 x 10's of their individual children and families...She was thrilled...the photographer they hired was charging astronomical prices for enlargements so I made her day!

Oh, they are really ready for Halloween! pink 'n purple...who could ask for anything more! (great costumes!)...and the cookie plate/cookies is so darn cute, too!

Dream, Malisia and Melinda are beautiful girls. They are so cute all dressed up for Halloween. I'm sure the three little ones will be delighted to find out they have Big Sisters.

You really should spend more time here sharing all of your beautiful decor. I always enjoy what your up to.

It's great to be back!

Karen, you're right...my babies usually hang out at the Christmas tree and then spend the rest of the year in my guest bedroom. I decided to give them a change of scenery by letting them hang out with me in the kitchen for a while!

Oh, and I thought of all of you earlier this week when I popped into the thrift store and walked out with 4 new salad plates. And I had sworn no more buying new dishes! We see how long that lasted! LOL!!!
