Thanks for mentioning this! I am having so much fun exploring my new house. I've been looking for a decent 3D program with more options than the IKEA room planner. That program did a better job of letting me really dig into my kitchen layout and cabinet plans but I couldn't put in furniture. This works so much better for actually getting into the rooms and walking around to make sure that it correlates and there is enough room for everything we want / need to include. And with DH traveling he can actually see what I am talking about when we discuss changes. So far, I've created our great room & kitchen, our master suite and will focus on my craft room and DH's office next. I'll have our whole house planned out in 3D before we even start digging.

I'm back and I figured out how to copy a picture from this forum into my iPad and doodle on it using this app. Yes, it's pretty cool! I worked on Nana2009's king sized quilt. After using it for one hour here are my problems: 1. there is not tool to make straight lines. You can draw pretty straight lines, but there is no drag-a-line image. 2. A photo of an entire quilt is too small to really effectively draw the quilting lines. I think individual blocks or close ups of the quilt would work much better. There is a way to zoom in when you are drawing, but I don't think that anyone else will be able to see the details once I zoom back out. 3. I don't know how to export/upload the photo to photo bucket. There is probably a way, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I was able to email it to myself, so hopefully from my email I can put it in photo bucket. Overall, it was fun and I really like the feature that corrects slightly for wobbly lines. If I'm successful in uploading the picture, I'll put it here and on the thread that Nana2009 started. Thanks again for suggesting this fun program!

Many apps come in a "free," "sample," or "Lite" version. If you like the "lite" app, you can upgrade to the paid version. I have about 200 apps loaded in my iPod Touch. Many were out-and-out free, and very useful, some were paid (and worth every penny like "MyStuff2" and the iBird apps), and with some I started out with the free/lite version and once I realized how much I'd use them, I later upgraded.

Wow, what a neat thing. Thank you for posting this. My hubby is nearly totally blind, I'm almost always with him, lol, but this sure would be useful for folks who don't have someone close by.
