Laid back - you can't imagine! True 'dat! If the sun would ever come back out, I would do something with these plants besides walk by them very quickly. Haven't even investigated to see if there's a species tag for the Plectranthus, guess I assumed she was a Mona, but maybe not. Probably just good ol' peat in the pots. Until I look, we can fantasize there's some special, magical juju in there! On our way home we stopped at Gulf Islands park in MS and saw an alligator! Up REAL close, I could have touched it. Forgot to say anything about that the other day. Still haven't seen one in AL, but finally, after living down here 6 yrs, I've seen a live gator.

Pretty colors on those. Not sure yet if Thanksgiving will be at my house or at DIL's. Oh, I stopped by Big Lots real quick today and they had lots of placemats, kitchen towels and rugs for Halloween. They had some really cute wreaths and signs too--I had to drag myself outta there by saying "you already have too much" and "you can paint your own signs". LOL Luvs

That is so cute!! Funny, I ran across that site (but not that project) looking for a gingerbread boy graphic the other day. I ended up making my own. I think this card would go great with a packet of the "grog" mix I posted on my website and mentioned over in Crafts & Decorations. I'm handing out cards to my family in person this year; think I'll make at least one of these pop-ups!

Hey thanks guys for the very nice comments. I know I can get a bit goofy at times and go off the deep end on some very trivial subjects. I had always assumed maybe I had more enemies here than friends. Well that may still be the case, but it's still nice to know you guys are here. I would miss alot of your personalities too. You guys are good people. My crash was a big wake-up call. God was definitely watching out for me. Any number of things could have happened just a little bit differently and netted much more disastrous results. I walked away w/o a scratch and so did the trucker. My car is a bit mangled, but is repairable, and yes, it is JUST a car - easily replaced. I had been taking a lot of things for granted and had fallen into an "I don't care" attitude - and this event just snapped me out of it. I have a firmer grasp of what is REALLY important again. Life can drastically change or can even be snuffed out in the blink of an eye. Maybe this lesson wasn't just intended for me either. Maybe somebody out there reading this also needs to wake up.
