We just got back from Springfield (had a lovely time) and Linda's square was in the mail. It's beautiful, Linda, thanks! I visited two quilt stores and bought some fabric at both. Also got my Insulbright. I know I spent a little more to buy it there, but I like to support the small business owner whenever possible.

Just a friendly reminder.....make sure none of these folks have diabetes. If they are in a nursing facility, then they are usually monitored/helped in giving out candy. Otherwise kindness and "sweetness" could turn out to be a critical situation. Didn't mean to take the fun out of giving. I love to give too.

I'm no poet by any stretch, but since Halloween is tomorrow and nobody else has replied, here's one for you. It may deter some kids from dumping the whole bowl in their bag if they think they are being watched??? I've seen that done before! Maybe you can tweek this one to work. Because you are so sweet, I've left this special treat. But if you don't want a nasty trick 1 or 2 candies ONLY you must pick!
