I use the Cuttlebug for felt, fabric and paper. I make hair clippies and the felt flowers for crocs and I cut everything out with the Cuttlebug. My daughter, Stephanie, uses it for scrapbooking once in a while. She has another system tho that hooks to her computer and she is able to cut any font that is on the computer with the Wishblade so we don't buy alphabet dies. I also have a Cricut. I only cut paper with that one.

Here is what my daughter had to say about the one I was trying to tell you about. the craft robo. it is about 300 or 350 I think, I can't remember. Closer to 3. Anyway you can cut out any shape or font there is. You can even download the pdf files of all the cricut cartridges and cut out any thing from them, so you dont have to pay 60+ each for them. (For some reason 278.00 is coming to mind.) The only drawback is, that it has to be hooked up to a computer so it is not as portable as the cricut. When you take 200 for the machine (cricut) and add 2 cartridges you have spent more money and have very limited amount of things to cut.

There is software for the Cricut called Design Studio. It allows you to combine and use templates from any cartridge you have. It does not allow you to use the TT fonts on your computer. The Cricut will only cut out designs on their cartridges. It is limited to using the cartridges that you have. Design Studio just lets you 'see' on your computer the contents of your cartridges and design things using something from each one if you want. I use mine for tags and stickers and things like that. I like the Tags, Bags and Boxes cartridge. Provo has a message board for the cricut and there are people on there that have websites that sell the cartridges. I have never paid more than $40 for one. In the stores they are upwards of $55. Steph has the Wishblade which does hook up to the computer and she can cut any font on her computer. It is way more expensive than the Cricut!

Hmm, I've never seen that machine before. It looks neat. I'll have to see what I can find out about it. You might try going to scrapbok.com to the forums. There's a section for product questions & discussions. You could create a login (free) and ask about it. The ladies there are very friendly and helpful!!!
