Power point photo cd's

Does anyone know of a software program that will let you make a photo CD using the Powerpoint animations in it. I have a TVCD software that will let you use powerpoint pages but does not have the animation. All help appreciated.

I use software called or Media Show by Cyberlink. I make end of the year graduation shows and I used to use PowerPoint ALL the time...but then you get into issues like processor speeds and different versions of powerpoint...and then dvd's became an option. Mediashow will let you save as an exe program that can be opened on any computer regardless of the software they have...plus you can convert to dvd if you have a dvd burner (I believe you can save as mpeg) AND it has way cool effects!!!! Some of them way cooler than powerpoint.

You could of course create a data page with all that information on and include it on the CD. A few years ago (Win 3.1 days) I created such a CD and distributed to family members. I made folders with each family group and included a data sheet in each folder. As these are older photos I assume you will be scanning them? Practice a bit before going ahead full steam and be sure to create an image at least one megabyte in size or larger in case anyone may want to print any in the future.

of course, there are many ways to burn PowerPoint to DVD for viewing it on TV: http://www.acoolsoft.com/knowledges/methods-to-burn-powerpoint-to-dvd.html You can compare the cons and pros of these ways and then choose the best way for you. For my part, the direct way to burn PowerPoint to dvd with Acoolsoft PPT to DVD Pro will be the most proper way if you want to make a professional DVD with DVD menu. If you want to view the presentation and save photos from it I find that I can do so using OpenOffice. After installing open office (which is free) I find that I can save a PowerPoint presentation to my computer, right click on it and select 'open with' and pick open office and it opens in the impress module of open office. The pictures are in a row on the left and I can select one then right click and copy and paste it into paint or another graphics program and save it into a folder on my computer. I don't know if you can do this with powerpoint viewer or not as I have never used it.

yes, presentation to video converter can create dvds with powerpoint to watch on a dvd player. but it also converts to various video formats (i.e. avi) so you can create cd, vcd...
