Ideas/suggestions for keeping basement dry when roof comes off

Our house is a very extensive renovation, so I'm calling it a "build". Hope that's okay. We are adding on/gutting/remodeling the main floor of a house with a full basement. The whole roof will come off, and be replaced with new trusses and roofing. All windows and siding and insulation will be removed and replaced.

The new foundation for the addition has just been poured and we are starting post and beam, then will do decking.

The basement is finished, and has sealed concrete floors. We want to preserve the drywall, wiring, insulation and keep it dry.

Soon, the new will have to be tied in to the remaining exterior walls, and the roof replaced. The main floor is torn out to the bare subfloor, so rain would go right in to the basement ceiling. We have been waiting 2 years in a shop and now a trailer house, so are very eager to get done. I don't want to wait on weather any more than we have to.

How can we keep this basement dry while we swap the roof out?

The back wall and garage side wall will remain. The near wall and front will be removed for the addition.
