OTR - Advantium vs Convection?

I need to replace my OTR micro/hood -in a super big hurry!- and am trying to understand the advantages of a GE Advantium 120 (model: SCA1001KSS) vs the non-Advantium convection (model: JVM1790SK).

I'm interested only in the OTR models not wall or any counter top models. I looked at them in the store today and it seems these both aren't much of a bump in price over a nice micro/hood alone so wanted to look into these. With the Advantium there seemed to be a lot of steps to use it as a micro except for the express 30 sec key and my main use would likely be the micro though mostly for reheating/beverages.

Is the only actual use difference between Advantium vs convection the speed? Both bake/brown/micro don't they? Does one give better results? The salesperson couldn't tell me much if anything - the first person I talked to didn't even know what or that they carried (they did) an Advantium.
