Hi,

We have a 30x60 tub to be replaced with the same size shower base. It has so far proven to be a pain to find a pan with that size.

We have found:

Kohler Salient: did not like the look esp since our bathroom is modern and this pan is sort of a mismatch for the look. Read great reviews regarding durability.

MTI acrylic: The look is modern as we want, but read some reviews regarding requiring special setting, being brittle. Price tag is hefty. Does this price mean ease of installation (e.g. no special setting needed etc.)?

Dreamline Amazon: Reasonable price; they say the pan is "acrylic with fiberglass reinforcing". Is this a decent product? Does this acrylic+fiberglass make sense?

When I searched MTI on this forum, I only found one person who installed it and several responses from MTI rep. Can people who have an experience with them chime in?

I would really appreciate feedback. Thanks in advance!
