Irish rose, What a beautiful boy! I lost my 15.5 y/o black lab,lance 15 months ago. He was my best kid ever! I've been wanting a new puppy for a long time but hubby wasn't ready until now and then springs it on me that he wants two puppies not one! I say it's double trouble but what a fun summer we'll have! I got my first lab from a breeder about 17 years ago and paid 550.00 for him. These puppies were an accident! A family friend has a male and female and thought that they could keep the seperate, YA RIGHT! We went to look at them and he said he knew how we loved and cared for our dog so he would sell us the first for 400.00 and the second for 275.00. What a bargain, huh. They are just thrilled that we would take two. The reason that we can't take them is that new hampshire law states that puppies stay with mom until they are 8 weeks old. It feels like forever! Lol, I think he looks like me too, lol. Sean looked just me when he was a baby too. Unless there was someone else involved we don't know about he is MINE, lol. The other boy has AB blood type and the baby, Sean and Stacy have 0 positive. O and AB don't make another O. I'm so happy! The deal with the Mom controling the daughter is she is living with her and she said she will kick her out and take the baby from her and everything she has purchased the baby is they don't do what she says. I told them go ahead and leave and they can come live with me, lol. Maybe the Mom is afraid since Sean is in the military and they would be living in South Carolina and she doesn't want her daughter and grandbaby to be so far away. Neither do I but jeeze thats cruel and they will have to stay somewhere til he gets back from Afganistan anyway. Why be such a butt now when she has a year and a half to worry about where they will live later. Luzia dropped me off a Phenomenal brug, I know I spelled that wrong and the most beautiful card with the babies first pic on it. I found it on the porch when I was leaving to go to work. Thank you Luzia. That made me cry again, lol. I know that baby bug feeling. I'm glad I'm fixed too, lol. I just love babies and he smiles already. I can't wait to see if he has the dimples.

She is sooo cute and puppies do help with empty nest syndrome..lol..Now, that my three daughters are grown and out on their own, we have 3 dogs.LOL The house is still filled with lots of activity.I know that you already love her and will spoil your new baby wrotten! You are doing the right thing with the crate training Rosemary. I didn't have a crate so I got some fencing from the pet store and my Dakota would gladly run into his little area (I made it a larger as he grew) each morning. He had a couple of toys and of course a treat when he went in and he would stay in there the entire day until I got home. It made for a very happy owner (me) and he was honestly really happy and content...never had an accident and of course looked forward to the treat when I got home. Teddy is such a doll. He's going to be a great dog, you can tell just from looking at him. Congratulations! Susan
