Bathroom Window

We are doing a complete home remodel and I have a question about our master bath design. Should I put the vanity or the shower near the window? The bath is not large. It's about 6.5 x 9.5, with the window on the short wall, the entrance to the bath pretty much anywhere on the long wall. One person thinks the shower should fit in the end with the window, the other thinks it could be on the opposite end, with the vanity closer to the window. What do you think?

I like having a window in the shower. Your vanity will probably have a mirror and the two would compete for space. I vote shower!

I'm with jjaazzy. We have an 8x10 bathroom remodel going on and the shower is next to the window. We also have a window next to the bath/shower in our other bathroom too.

If "relocating the master bathroom to this area" means the full gut that I think it does, window treatments are among the last things that you should be thinking about. First you need a reno plan for the space. This may well mean a substantial change to what windows you have there. In the meantime, hang up some sheers and settle in. Congrats on your new home.
