mosaic floor tile to shower drain joint: caulk or grout??

OK, I'm up to speed on where 96% of tilers improperly use grout, instead of caulk, in a mudded, tiled shower enclosure, i.e. change of planes, door tracks to curbs, bullnose-to-wallboard, etc... (I can see the temptation, i.e. you got a big ol' blob of grout, and a big ol' float to push it anywhere and everywhere... so there it goes...)

But what about right down around the perimeter of the drain? Would seem like caulk is the ticket, but that is some TOUGH place to dig out tough grout!
