Thank you for the birthday wishes...in the process of trying to forget I was another year older, I forgot Jim was too. LOL. Or I'd have posted him some birthday wishes sooner. Sorry about that Jim, I really hope you had a wonderful birthday and are perking up after the long winter.

I wasn't able to go out to dinner, tho my DH offered. Back has been killing me for last few weeks, and sitting is almost harder than walking. So I haven't been much fun, LOL. My kids all came by, with gift cards for my favorite places to spend money. Michaels especially! And my Dad said a shopping day at my favorite antique mall was on him!
Now if only I could get KayLuvs back here to go with me again! Much more fun with her along!

Happy Birthday, Karen! I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. Luvs told me, and I have been praying for you.
Wish I could do something to cheer you up..
But hey, another year closer to SS, and that little extra will be fun to spend.
And it is patriotic. I tell dh that every time he says something about more dishes..I am doing my little bit to help this pathetic economy!

I've been going through a little mental melt-down about this past B'day, not only was it my 50th, but a few yrs back my dad died on it, so lots of baggage this yr to deal with!

But I got through it..and I was given a great B'day party by my sister that was really nice and really made the day special.
I even got a new digital camera as gift!

Jim your new camera works great! The pics are nice and clear. Like how you did up that tiered glass bowl stand that you got as a gift awhile back. You have a nice collection of birds as well....Ms. K doesn't look too impressed with them though! LOL!

Karen, I'm so sorry that your back is giving you so much pain you didn't even feel like going out to eat on your Birthday. Poor Baby!

And Jim, you remind me of haw I felt when I turned 30. Both 20 and 30 were hard birthdays for me. 40 and 50 were just fine.
Ms K seems to be saying she is quite tired of having her picture taken!

I'm deeply sorry to hear you lost your Dad on your birthday.
That must have made it so devastating.
I'm glad you got thru turning 50. I'm now 62(going-on-92 thank you Fibro). Where did the years go! sighing.

You have one TERRIFIC sister. You've mentioned her a few times and she sounds so special, and obviously loves you dearly. You're a lucky man.

Take care of yourself, and I pray you will feel better now that you've gotten thru this March.
