Old question.....Know how to remove paint from a soda bottle???
Comments (2)I've never tried goo gone but twice now I've put what I thot was red colored glass in the dishwasher but it wasn't colored glass but some sort of colored coating over white/green glass. This coating turns cloudy in the DW and I've had to scrape it off. On this last one DH used paint remover which worked fairly well except for the crevasses. I really need to look closely at cheap YS colored glass before I buy it....See MoreCleaning oil bottle
Comments (4)Dawn Dawn Dawn. thanks! After my oil bottles have sat for months, with a sticky oil dredge at the bottom, they are clean! I tried soaking them, changing the soapy hot water daily for 2 weeks, sticking a bottle brush down there and scrubbing away.. Nothing. Still sticky mess. After reading this, I put a generous amount (about an inch) of Dawn, and hot water, get this, a half-hour later, it all swished away! I soaked the tops, and they too are squeaky clean. thanks thanks thanks!...See MoreNeed Help making a lamp out of an old glass wine bottle

Comments (7)Did you look them up to see if you have valuable editions of the bottles? Some of those 6.5 oz. coke bottles are expensive collector items. I have seen wind chimes made from melted bottles, but I am sure you need a Kiln to do that....See Morelindac
