You must have some void space beneath the poking device for it to go into, as well as, have the jug, bottle, whatever supported. I sometimes have visions of people trying to do this holding the container in their hands or on their laps and inadvertently giving themselves piercings. Really takes the fun out of it. Your "piercing board" is the perfect solution to avoid that problem. Sad that your hands are not what they should be. VRE. Yes he probably contracted this in a hospital setting. VRE is contagious. However, being young and healthy you probably should have little problems from it. But bad to have for an elderly person. It is a bacteria that is resistant to Vancomycin, which is a very strong antibiotic that has probably been overused in years to treat MRSA which is a strain of bacteria that resists Methicillin or most all penicillins. These UTI's will clear up which is good, but they will come back periodically. Nursing home patients chronically get them some I would venture to guess live with one for the rest of their lives, just to varying degrees. These are however bedridden patients who may live with a catheter permanently due to incontinence. These uti's can cause a host of other symptoms and when severe (urosepsis) they can cause an alteration in mental status that can mimic TIA or stroke symptoms. Good luck. But, I print images out on cardstock, or plain old white paper, sometimes tracing paper, it looks so unique like that, wings especially. Yes, the ink will smear, I don't know how to make better quality prints. Oh, sometimes I print on photo paper,too,and vellum because I bought a stack at a yard sale for a dime. but I try to get the mod podge on it quickly with as few strokes as possible. Once you get the first coat on it's not bad. I set my printer to plain paper. If I cover it in mod podge I add glitter last otherwise it dulls it...

It all looks really nice so far! A cheap diy to get a moon gate ring/garden arch is to buy a used hay ring off Craigslist in the "farm and garden section" and use it for your garden. I've seen them as cheap as $40 around here but I live in a area with a lot of horses etc. They look like this (see link). You just bury part of it or cement it in. They are big and heavy duty.
