WoW Karen... a lot of nice things! Love that first bunny but they are all adorable. The spring wreath is very pretty and those lavender and green plates are really nice.

So sorry about your son (just read your "my page"), what a tragedy! Sending healing prayers his way.

Your Easter decorations are very lovely Karen and it's nice to hear you had a nice dinner after all. Sorry to hear about your son, I hope all goes well for him and I too will say prayers that his eye gets better.

Oh my gosh, I am drooling here, what wonderful things. I love the bunnies, and that cool wreath, my stup** Ross did not have anything like that! So unfair! :) Love the top bunny too, such a great price. Your collection of green dishes is growing, you can defineatly use them for our "tea party" :)

Wow! Karen you sure found some great things! That first bunny is wonderful, and the wreath is so gorgeous! Luv them! You are getting quite a collection of dishes and bunnies, and I love your displays.

So glad you were able to enjoy Easter with your family, and I will certainly pray for lots more miracles for Jason--he so deserves them.

Judith is right, your bunny pitcher, green cups, goodies on a tray and some purple flowers and you'll have a perfect tea party! :o)

Wow, you have some lovely things. You KNOW that ceramic wreath with the hydrangea has me drooling..but everything looks so pretty.
So glad you celebrated Easter after all...

I love everything, but the expression on the pups face is priceless!!!!! It is so hard to get a figurine of any sort that has a great face.
Add us to the group praying for your son...he has overcome such great obstacles...blessings to him and to you!!

Karen, I'm so sorry for your son! My mother also has problems with one of her eyes and know how your son, you and your family can feel!

So I'll pray for him... expecting that someone upon us does something for him. Sometimes, my Dad listens to my prayers :)

Regarding your pictures... well, the very first time I bought a mini house, I was on holiday in Canterbury and bought a house box. Each time I went on holiday in England, I bought a new house box.

I saw boxes such as the bunny boxes you have and didn't have the opportunity to buy some of them but plan to do when I'll go back in England (with the jet foil not the airplane).

Your boxes are splendid, really!

Also both your lavender and green dishes are so nice!

Your spring wreath is also gorgeous... unfortunately that is the kind of item I can't have in my home: Minute, the dog would make it a mashed wreath in 1 minute (oh yes, it's a jumper dog... half dog and half kangaroo) :-(

Well, thanks to you and all of my new friends of this forum, I just converted a friend of mine to holiday decorations, hihihi.

So, we'll go shopping for the Spring and Mother's Day within two weeks!!!!

By the way, your large rabbit should be gorgeous in her dining room too, lol.

What a nice surprise for you to have a family Easter meal together after all. How sad for your son not to be able to go to Disneyland with his family...I too pray his sight is restored, he has certainly been through so much already. I don't know which Easter decor picture to comment on as I LOVE them all. Your bunnies are adorable and your bordallo plates fabulous!

I am sorry those photos are so large, know that is hard on some of you to open. I thought I resized them but apparently not small enough.

Prosp, hope you can get some of the hinged boxes. I use to collect tiny ones, but decided I had too many collections and tried to pare some down. I did keep all my bunny ones of course.

Jay, I have almost 300 dog statues, so am lucky to have quite a few with wonderful faces. My late mother always loved this one in particular tho, she would pat his head every time she walked by him. LOL.

Thanks for all the kindness regarding Jason. It'll be weeks, maybe months, before we know if the eye drops made up for him will work. They are made up specially back East, using his own blood. Kind of science fiction stuff!

Thank you, Jim, that is a wonderful way to look at Jason's eye problem. I will hold on to that thought.

My DD and also my DIL are fantastic cooks, lucky for me or we'd probably never have family dinners. LOL. The cooking gene skipped me apparently. Wish I hated EATING as much, I'd look like "Barbie" then. haha.

Collecting... I know what it is and how addictive it can be! I used to collect crystal, bronze objects, ducks and porcelain.

Since Minute entered my life, she ended my addiction and my collections.

Regarding cooking... hmmmm... well I cook very well but have no patience, so my meals are often charred, luckily, my son cooks like a chef, lol.

Ewww, I love that first bunny too, very different! I have one of the Bordallo double dishes in pink, got it at a yard sale last year for around a dollar I think. I will look for lavender ones for you, I haven't seen them in the store here, only green & pink.

You did good, great Easter dinner & all those bargains!

I read one time here that your son has a website or you have one for him, I'd love to see it, can you give the web address again?

Keep your head up & PRAY, that is the only thing that works for me. I won't go into all my problems!!

Yacht, the website Jason had is no longer there. Another cop had set it up long ago and it was not updated the last few years. Jas does plan to do another in the future I think. But all the stuff that was on the old site is on google.com anyway. Including the photos in Image Search at the top of the page. Just type in Jason Schechterle on google and everything comes up that was ever done on him. Tons of stuff, LOL.

His doc said his eye doesn't look as bad as previous times when this happened, so he's pretty sure the eye drops will work again and Jason's sight will be restored in the next few weeks or month. Thank you Everyone, for all the prayers and good thoughts. Must be working again!

Karen, thanks for the update on what the doctor said about Jason's eyes. I had just been thinking that we needed an update on how the eye drops were working. Will keep praying that his sight will be restored.

I haven't seen any of the purple Bordallo plates here, just green, pink and yellow. Your's are really pretty. So glad your Easter worked out so well so you could enjoy it with some of your family. Loved seeing all your goodies too. Just love your new "bunny", he was sure a good find. And I'm still drooling over your ceramic wreath. Have you decided where it will go?

Karen, you are an amazing woman & sooooo strong and so is Jason's wife! I had NO idea. I am a bit speechless to not have known all this, since it seems others here knew & I just babble on at times, and here your family has endured and better yet, survived this horrible tragedy!
