I owned the Serenity 16-- i can tell you i loved it but it was NOT a 2 person tub-- no tub that is 36 inches wide is 2 person (FYI The internal width is 19 inches) def. a 1 person tub. If you can only fit a 36 inch wide tub than this tub is fabulous-- but if you can go 42 wide than you might want to look at Maax living-- thats what we are looking at for the next house-- good value and wide enough for 2! Baine Ultra i found not wide enough for 2 ...

We have the Meridian 55...I wish I got the 60, but was concerned that we didn't have enough room. I do like it, but it isn't perfect. It is a bit noisy and the lowest settings aren't that calm. I have read on this forum that you can override it, but I haven't figured it out yet on mine. Also, sometimes the air blowing out of the holes is cold. I haven't tried the other models, so I don't know how they compare.

We have the Zuma CD7236 - similar specs to the Racheal. Ours is plenty big for 2 with an inside width of 30 inches.

We have the HS Rosemarie in the kids bath - it is a very pretty tub and nice interior size for a 32 x 60. After living with 60's era shallow tubs I wanted only tubs big enough for any adult to have a nice soak! It is not an air tub so I can't speak to that.

We narrowed between the Bain Ultra and Zuma - had problems with the controls of the BA at a hotel and chose the Zuma - my sister has had one for years and loves it.

Thanks for the responses good people. We will be purchasing two tubs for our planned B&B and definately want six foot tubs but are limited to 36" width. For two person use, will this exclude the Serenity16? and have heard/read of the Bain Ultra's air jets growing cold(not good) which is moving us toward the hydro systems Rachael or Caribe, can anyone give us additional comments with these thoughts.

I have had nothing but problems with my Bain Ultra jet tub. My tub would turn on randomly throughout the night, so I would be in bed and hear air rushing from the tub in the middle of the night. Within a year of installation the lights on the keypad stopped functioning. Called their customer service department and they will not honor their warranty. Apparently their electronics and keypads are poorly constructed. The Bain employee I spoke to suggested I replace the tub altogether.
