It looks, great!!!Your candle lamps came out so pretty, and the mugs, did you paint the shamrocks??? And the shoes, how precious and unique!! You are the Queen of Shamrocks!

Kathleen, Thank you. The shamrocks were done with the faux stained glass paints. They peel right off and can be stuck on plastic and used again next year. And I know I shouldn't have used the napkin rings on the napkins in the mugs, but I did it anyway. I also see I forgot my son's shamrock sunglasses sticking out of his goblet. LOL

Sandi, it's beautiful, looks as good as in a magazine. Wow, you did great! Those candles look much richer than what we all know you paid for them, at first I saw them & thought WOW those are gorgeous & then remembered you frosted them, they look very expensive!!!

We have DH big dinner from work tonite, so I won't be doing St. Paddys, this is the first time his big dinner has fallen on St. Pats! But, on the other hand, I don't have to cook & we're having LOBSTER! LOL

The napkin rings were St Paddy's Day charm bracelets that I took apart and rewired for napkin rings. I do have St Paddy's wine charms on the goblets, but they don't show very well in the above pics.

sandi, thanks so much for your offer but within the next two weeks I will be going shopping in another area that has a nice Big Lots store and I will look for those. Hopefully they will have them. You did get them at Big Lots if I remember correctly? I'll keep your offer in mind though in case I can't find them anywhere! :)

Mary, I got the candle lamps at Dollar Tree for $1.

I found these today at Old Time Pottery 2 for $15. They are the smaller ones. They had the larger ones for $15 each, but I thought they were too big to use at each place setting. Excuse the other stuff in the picture. I went shopping today and took pics of everything to send to Kathleen.

Really like this little lamp too. Should look really pretty reflecting the light. Your vase and plate there look interesting too--why is Kathleen the only one who gets to see your great finds--I want to see too! (Pouting now--bottom lip extended) LOL

I love those little candle lamps! Where else besides Old time has them??? Does Walmart ever have them??

Luvs, I just piled everything in the floor and took a pic. I was going to lay it out nicer tomorrow and take a pic for the forum. I'll upload the pics to photobucket tomorrow and post them here.

Kathleen, Judith said Walmart has had them, but I've never seen them there. I don't think all Walmarts are created equal. Big Lots has them, but I think they only have the larger ones for $15 each. Oh, and Macy's has the small ones and larger ones.

Sandi, your table came out great, it is very festive! The Walmart green glass dishes are great with your dishes too.

I love the little glass candle holders, you got them at a great price! I wish I had an Old Time Pottery here! Walmart (mine) doesn't have the candle holders any more, they really only had them around Christmas. I have seen them at Macys too, but pricy.

Judith and Tamgypsy, Thank you both for your nice compliments. Yes, the green glassware from Walmart did the job for me. The salad plates were only $1, but the mugs cost a little more. Can't beat those prices! ;~)

The $1 candle lamps are perfect for my kitchen table and I can decorate them for different table settings. The lamps from OTP are 7 1/4" high, but they look much more substantial than the other ones and I'll use them in my dining room. Here's a pic with the 2 side by side.

Now, now, Luvs, don't be jealous. Sandi will show all her goodies. I just got a preview, you will get a beau display!! I am her enabler, I tell her go out and buy more, the DP won't know!! LOL
Tam, I can't find them here in NY either. I didn't look in Macy's , but the one closest to me doesn't have a house wares dept, so I am safe..exp if they are pricey!

Thank you cyberdancer. I bought the tree at an after Christmas sale 20 years ago. It's getting very ragged out, but I've never seen them anyplace else. I sent DH out to the woods one year to find a replacement and he brought home a pine branch. LOL Maybe this summer I can go out myself ond day. I do know it has to be hardwood. A friend of mine went out in the woods and cut smallish branches off of several different trees and stuck them close together into a ceramic pot filled with sand and decorated them. She did a good job, but I don't have a pic.
