Oh no, I just spent 3 hours out in my yard. Had to come in to potty and back was hurting. This is when I know 2 acres is big yard.haha

We get alot of this and then like you are saying, rain comes so it doesn't stay this time of year. We'll hope that's the case for you. So sorry you have to deal with anxiety.

I've had a couple of rushes when I get 6 customers and things aren't going real smooth but can't imagine living with it daily.

Did you have to go some where or did DS take a road trip and shoot the picture? I've driven in it all my life and don't think much about driving in it if I need to go some where. I've had enough of the white stuff unless it wants to come down and stay in the mtns.

I just put a pot of split pea soup on for lunch. DH is trying to stay off meats, cheese, presevatives, so didn't know what else to fix right off. As I smell it cooking and look at your picture, kinda goes together.

MM...we got it here Fri. late afternoon & night...it made everything white again...but was all gone Sat. at noon! Let's hope for a "green" April...none of this white stuff...think everyone has had plenty for this winter! LOL MM .. had the same kind of "not fit to print" morning myself.. only not with snow,but with rain.I live on a dirt road in the country if that tells you anything :>). It started raining yesterday afternoon and rained all night. I left work at midnight,got home around 1 am and got stuck going uphill on my driveway. Thennn .. left home at 11 am this morning heading back to work and promptly got stuck up on the road. At least I wasen't the only one sitting there like a dork .. 4 others got stuck behind and beside me. It's true.. misery does love company .. lol! A nice man came down the hill with his tractor and pulled all of us out.Thank God for good country people :Susan

My sister lives in the country & were coming into the city for groceries when she snapped the picture. I've always been here so am used to driving in it but it's the crazy people around me that have moved here that I don't trust. lol We played hermits today and stayed in packing & resting ect. Quality time we rarely get these days since he works 6-7 days a week.
I'm hanging in there for the moment but that could change rapidly depending on my nerves. I'll be alright though :).

Ewww a ton-o-mud. So sorry you had issues , I know it well as my mother lives in the country and I've been there many times. Nothing more agrivating than being stuck. Bless that nice country man for getting you out!

You all have my sympathy with the latest snowfall. However, please keep it there down south as we have not had much snow the last few months here in the north. And I can live without more of that white stuff this year. Of course, it's still not really what even northerners consider warm. Hovering in the low 50's in the daytime but frosty at night still. Too early for gardening so we're busy fencing and I can't play in my house doing fun things.

Hope no one gets stuck, I know what that's like altho I've gotten stuck in snow, not mud. We live on a 2 mile long private road so it's not paved but pretty good except icy at certain times and that's when I've gone off the road even with 4-wheel drive. Not easy driving on a skating rink.

MM, we had some Saturday afternoon but it didn't last, it's all gone, but it was just enough to make my backyard a spongy, muddy mess again and it had just dried out enough for my dogs to come into the house with clean paws!

That is spring in the midwest, I'm used to it after all these years, but I DON'T like it!

Every year my daffodils get zapped! They all have huge buds on them & once this happens, they dry up & do not open! I can only remember one year that they opened & that is rediculous!

Hopefully, this is the last of it. I know our temps went from almost 70 last week to the low 40's over th weekend.

MM, we barely missed it this time, but I'm glad we missed it because we were camping. Things were really cool, but seem to be getting back to normal today.

A snowstorm started up here a week ago Sunday evening, just as we were flying back in from Dallas. It thankfully all melted by Monday afternoon and then we got more again on Friday and Saturday! Both melted within hours, but I am getting tired of snow! We now have rain forecasted for Wednesday . . . thankfully, not snow this time, but it put DH in a blue funk this morning, as that's his golf afternoon ;^D
Here's a pic of our road the morning of the 15th. I'd just dropped DD off at the school bus at 7:10AM and had to stop and take some pics. The snow looked so beautiful and everything had a slight blue cast as the sun was just coming up. The days right after daylight savings time starts are always hard for me, as it's still so dark in the mornings when DD leaves for school.

it snowed in Texas too!!! Yikes!!

55 degrees here today and all the snow is gone like it never happened.
My main concern was DH getting safely to the airport which thankfully worked out fine as it warmed up quickly from very early this morning.
I tracked him to Dallas and after leaving an hour later than scheduled, he's over NewMexico now.. LOL
Another 1hr15min and he'll be there. I'll be sooo glad and much less anxious when I get the text that says he has landed.

We got some snow today but it soon turned to rain. We've had some great weather in the mornings and then it turns cold in the late afternoon.

This is quite the post you started MM and it's interesting to read about others weather. Loved seeing the pics too.

Lynn, snow in the desert is always breath-taking to me, and your photo is gorgeous.
Your DH doesn't play golf in the rain? Are Phoenix golfers the only nuts doing that? LOL.
Thankfully, we don't do Daylight Savings Time, but it does make it hard for me remember that many of my friends do and their schedules change.
Our summer days are way too long, sun up around 5, and it doesn't get truly dark till almost 9. They tried DST once and it was awful here.

Karen, DH is such a golf fanatic that he and his golf cronies have actually played through significant snows, and in the rain and wind many, many times. Their foursome having been playing together for 25 years. If it snows, they just switch to orange balls and keep going.
But, when the local weather casters predict rain or snow, DH always stands there and accuses the tv/them of trying to ruin his golf day ;^D
After 27 years of this, I've just learned to smile and walk away (LOL).

Ahhh, Lynn, I hear you. And totally relate. I tell my DH there is a reason that Golf spelled backwards is FLOG.
Listening to him and our son Jason (thank goodness I don't have to listen to rest of their group!) makes me crazy at times. They can have 17 good holes, but its the ONE bad hole that has them thinking their round was 'ruined'.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda! Gosh Guys, grow up. LOL.

70 whopping degrees here today. That's more like it versus snow on the ground. LOL
I went out and looked the flowerbeds over to see what was peeking out and visited some family for a bit.
DH seems to be settled into LA for the week and doing fine, for me - last night was absolutly awful but alas, the sun did come up this morning and I was still here so I guess it'll be ok-lol.
The strangest thing is I've realized just how much of my time goes into him , it's actually proving quite boring here with him gone. *sigh*
I wanted to work on a bit more Easter decor but my back is in a very bad mood from tossing/turning all night with little actual sleep. Nothing going to get done today. *boo*

(Sigh) Here we go again! Yesterday I was running errands in a light sweater and could see many of the trees starting to leaf out. Last night it dropped to 33-degrees and we had popcorn snow, hail and then rain . . . again! Despite predictions for more rain or snow today, DH (my avid golfer hubby) tromped off to work with his golf clubs, rain suit and an 11AM tee time. It started snowing here again an hour ago. I called him at work and, although it's snowing there some, too, he says he's determined to play golf today no matter what. I hope he packed his orange golf balls so that he can find them in the snow ;^D
