pros-cons Bosch slide in vs freestanding - gas vs dual fuel

Seems the slide-in comes with significant tradeoffs

1) slide in does not have optimised burner spacing - does anyone who has feature, find it very useful?

2) slide in does not have stainless steel cooktop surface - is it easier to maintain the stainless - or the back bosch cooktop?

3) slide in has many complaints here about a noisy electronics cooling fan - would most people trade their slide in Bosch for a freestanding Bosch because of this issue?

4) the need for a noisy fan to keep the electronics cool raises serious questions about reliability - and bad experiences - or can annyone back this up?

Gas vs Dual Fuel

again - I understand dual fuel to be less reliable - can anyone back this up?

is there any real advantage to a Bosch dual fuel vs bosch gas oven?

I would think gas has the advangtage of lower operating costs, and be less likely to dehdryrate items in the oven as they cook?

only disadvantage I can see to gas - is that it is more necessary to keep the range vent running - because burning gas releases CO.

thanks for the insight

we're getting closer to finalising our appliances - tomorrow we are buying the Kenmore 1630 made by Bosch dishwasher :-)
