Jim that is so wonderful to hear. I am very happy for you, and thankful you have caring people who could make this birthday special. I'm sorry you lost your Dad on this day, I can't even imagine how terrible that would be. But I am sure he would want you to celebrate Mar 31 again and not be sad. Well I just lost my entire post!!! How in the world do I do that??? Punk, I'm calling this blue Turquoise since that is the birthstone for March. I like the way the flash makes the stems light up too. I added the gems for more sparkle. The Tree is a White Birch branch. I've been using for years, it's really brittle now and will need to be replaced soon. Candy the crocheted placemats are vinyl and came from CTS, I think Michaels has them also. Jane, These colors speak to me as well they are so Springy. and I love pastels. I used the daffodils and jonquils because they are the flower for March. Karen, I think that little shoe is cute, and I thank my DF for lending it to me. Jeanne, Those cups absolutely belong with my plates!!! they would be perfect for whimsical Spring Tea Party. Gosh it would be fun to get together and see what we could come up with....Where is that bus when you need it???... My tree does take a while to decorate, especially since I decide to move to another location AFTER it is trimmed! Frou, The placemats came from CTS, but I think Michaels has them too. I found Mr and Mrs. Bunny this year I think they are the right size to go with the tree. I'm glad you all enjoyed my pictures. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. NanaK

I HAVE to get all my Christmas things put away right after Twelfth Night or I end up hating it. I was loath to take down my Valentine's decs, but did. No St.Paddy's day decs, as DD's birthday is the next day after. As for Easter decs, love them but just leave the pastel flowers out afterwards. As with Christmas, it drives me nuts to have bunnnies and eggs out (in my house, NOT seeing them in anyone else's home) after Easter Sunday. But, like I said, I do love to have my pastel flowers around for weeks after.
