tile before baseboard question.

My contractor had the baseboards removed (planning to replace them with new ones) prior to tiling in every part of our bathroom except the "toilet room" where just yesterday, the installers tiled UP to the existing baseboard.

This seems odd to me. And up close, I can tell it clearly won't look as nice as the rest of the walls will once the new baseboard is put in over the new tile. In the toilet room, the tile line is not straight and even covers up part of the baseboard!

I should ask him to remove the baseboard in the toilet room and redo that the way it's done everywhere else, correct?
