Happy Birthday Purplemoon (Karen), lucky you, you missed April Fools day, buy one day!!!

Yachter, DH and I got married on April Fools' Day. We live in NC, but went back to MS where I'm from to get married with my family. Everyone was gathered at my brother's house waiting for us to get there and we were late. They all thought it was an April Fools' Day joke.

Thanks for the birthday thoughts and wishes, Everyone!!! I appreciate it more than you know. Had my BIG shopping day yesterday with DD and DDIL. We went to Kirklands, Pier 1, Home Goods, and Ross. Then to lunch. I had such a great time with my beautiful girls, tho today can barely move and am paying for all that walking. Worth it tho.
I'm saving the photos and goodie stuff to show off on Monday's venue. Actually haven't taken pix yet anyway, but I behaved better than I thought when faced with all the stores and the girls' money to spend on stuff I wanted. LOL.
I have to admit to being rather depressed today at the fact my 50s are over. Sad at seeing them end. Of course it would help if I didn't feel 90 and dealing with fibro so crippling now. But you guys make me smile and this forum certainly makes me happy, so Life is Good.

Karen, I'm happy for you that you had a nice day with DD & DIL. And your 50s aren't over...your 60s have just begun!

Anyone that has Fibro knows how bad it can be and I'm surely not minimizing it, but anything fun that makes us smile is worth doing. ;~)

I hope your day today is just as wonderful as yesterday. Monday's pretties thread is going to be great with all of the new buys.

Happy Birthday, Karen. Adjusting to not being "in my 50's" anymore threw me a bit too--but hey, it really doesn't feel any different! Ha ha

I decided to celebrate today as the 29th ANNIVERSARY of my 31st birthday. Much easier pill to swallow, LOL.
Luvs, my family knows better than to give me a cake with 60 candles to blow out. Don't want Fire Dept showing up...then again, 4 or 5 hunky firemen...hmmmm. sounds good.

I set up a family album on photobucket if anyone is interested in meeting my pride and joy. A warning for those of you who don't know about my youngest son, Jason.
His photos are a bit graphic, he suffered total head 4th degree burns when his patrol car exploded in 2001. I'm so proud of him and to me, he's beautiful. His spirit and joy of life shines thru. Some of you know about him already, he's been on TV and National news many times, and has a website about what happened. www.officerjason.org

Karen, you have a beautiful, wonderful family. I know you are so proud of each of them. All of the pics were great, and I am glad Jason and his family are doing well.
