Thank you! I got all the dishes, glasses and pitcher as well as the flatware from Dansk when they had a little outlet store here. The dishes have a regular soup bowl as well as what they call a fruit or cereal bowl, which is a totally different shape. Then Lenox bought Dansk and closed the store. It was the greatest place. They sent coupons out often, and you could use them on your whole order. If someone got one for 50% off, they let you share. It was great! Wish we still had it, I would be posting pics everyday of what they had!!!

Hi2all, I answered your question about my dining room carpet on the home dec forum under centerpieces. If you want, I will take a better pic of the carpet. Maybe when I get all my St. Pat's stuff out I'll put it on the carpet and take a pic, killing 2 birds with one stone!!!
As for the napkins, they call it a crown, and it I would have starched and ironed them, they would have come out better. Next time! LOL

Kathleen, Your table looks absolutely beautiful! It's not how expensive the things are, but how you bring it altogether~I think that's a big part of what we're learning on this forum. We can shop at Dollar Tree and discount stores, and have a pretty table for very little money. Family could care less about about all the trouble we CHOOSE to go through, but WE do it cause we love them, and makes US feel good. I loved setting up my Valentine table for just four of us!! It's a rarity for me to have such a small number of people, and I think you can go a little more 'out' with a smaller number. I think it's the little things like a pretty table that make for unforgettable moments. ;o)

kathleen, your blue and white tablesetting is very pretty, and your menu sounds yummy, you can whip me up a dinner any day! Patty is certainly right, you don't have to spend alot on tablesettings to have a beautiful look, its really how things are put together, not how much they are.

Thank you Patty and Judith. I wish my dh thought my tablesetting was inexpensive! When I told him I got the plates for 10 instead of 20 each, he wasn't impressed.LOL.. But really, I saved over 300 dollars using that coupon, and I never would have bought them if I didn't have it! And I do love the blue, but I have had them for 5 yrs now, and I am pining for a nice set of white porcelain, something a little decorative. But, I haven't found them yet. I keep calling him over to look at all the things Judith has, so thanks J for helping to make my case!!

Uh, Oh, another hubby mad at me (Judy ducking low) LOL, just remind him about all the manly goodies he owns and wants, just a little friendly blackmail. LOL Thank goodness for coupons and sales, I rarely buy anything full price if I can help it too!
