Auto accidents and the prevailing insurance issues has always been a hot topic for me. Recently, my 20 yo daughter who has had 2 auto accidents in the last 2 years as well as 2 speeding tickets has me paying premiums in excess of 8000/yr. I have a 17 yo who has been driving on a permit for a year who is itching for her license but my insurance company of 25 years tells me my rates will go to 9900/yr, something I just can't fathom as the current rates are really putting a choke hold on my family. Concerned about my own daughters automobile, (the one that has been in 2 accidents totalling about 9000.00 in damages) I ordered a carfax report, I think it cost me something like 29 dollars. It came back Clean! Can you believe it?!! My first impulse was to call and complain, before the duh factor kicked in. Her car was put back together with parts that fit but weren't necessary made for her make and model; i.e., non-factory parts. It also should have been totaled but the repair shop did quite a bit of work before determining the damage was more extensive than first appraised. Oh well, like I said, auto insurance is such a hot topic with me, it always pushes my buttons, I just had to jump in. If I were the OP and I had the stamina, I would raise cain with the insurance company to be compensated for the depreciated loss. Kathy

The handle bar may seem out-sized, but that may be due to how this picture was composed. It appears to have been made with the lens set for wide angle and was near the trike. This causes an exaggerated view where objects near the lens are out-of-scale large compared the the background items. Most likely, the handle bar is made of low carbon steel. It is very dirty and dusty. It might appear much different if it were cleaned. It looks very much like trikes ca 1950 era. I have performed minor servicing on these when employed at a service station. That was mostly lubricating and adjusting the handle bar height. The design of these did not change much from 1948 through 1958 when manufacturers and parents became interested is safer designs. Those old style trikes were easy to tip over. Plastic frames with vastly different shapes began replacing metal ones.

Unfortunately, not a lot....the bottom seems to have dropped out of the victorian furniture market....$125 to $200.

I knew the second wheel wasn’t her photo because I recognized it from elsewhere... and also, there was no way the OP could have gotten theirs assembled correctly, in perfect shape, and a different stain in under an hour... the OP said they need to assemble and posted the pic less than an hour later. It’s really not worth much in its present condition of not assembled and misassembled and looking like it might be missing pieces. If you can refurbish it as nicely as that second pic, you might get closer to that 130. Not fully functional it might appeal to a decor.... but the market is kind of thin for wheels like this, especially without a juicy provenance to make it interesting to more random collectors. Fully functional, it’s still not necessarily going to appeal to a spinner. Used wheels can be problemic, especially when they are in the shape yours is in.
