That's definitely underripe. You want them to look deeper orange, almost bordering on purplish. You know they're ripe when they are almost falling off the tree. Some people eat them off the ground, but you don't know how long they've been there and sometimes ants or other insects are going to town on them. I like to give the tree a gentle shake and the ones that fall off are *usually* perfect to eat. They'll be mushy and it's a pain getting the skin off (usually you just want to eat the pulp) but the flavor is totally worth it.

I wouldn't like that either. Who knows what happened all those months ago. "Get over it" seems wrong to say. How about "Come to terms with it" or "Make the best of it" or "put it in perspective." It cannot be changed now, anyway. Maybe they can at least refund what you paid for the yearbook, as a gesture of regret for the mistake. If this is the worst thing that happened to your son's senior year, you are a lucky family. You have the nice pictures from the photographer, those are the ones you'll treasure for yourself, as a mother, more than the yearbook, anyway. I mean, those will be in the frame on the mantle or wherever every day for years. The yearbook picture will be looked a lot for now, but eventually almost never. We have so many pictures of our children/ourselves growing up, the value of the yearbook is the memories of people and times that it brings back later for the student. That won't change despite this error.

remodelfla-thanks for the timely posting on this topic as lighting was next on our list. I intend to call Juno tech myself just to make sure I'm ordering the correct housings and trims. needsometips08-thanks for the info-my kitchen has lots of earthy colors so I guess the wheat will be a good choice. Today, when we were at the lighting store and actually got to see all the different Juno cans we definitely decided on the wheat. That interior color is a very soft, wheat like/pale gold color-it's really pretty. Also it was nice to see the 5" and the 6" mounted up next to each other. For us, it's the 5" even though it is a bit more expensive. What we can't get over is the HUGE price difference between ordering online or with the lighting store. If we order from laner.com we will save $300+ over the price quoted to us from the lighting store. That's a BIG difference. I would have liked to have been able to give the local company my business but not for that much of a price difference. This forum provides so much helpful info. I feel less stressed out!

Looks like a Mimosa. They can be trees or shrubs. They can also be invasive if you live in a warm climate. When I lived in NY we had one called Golden Rain Tree. It grew as a tree but was not a large tree. Very pretty in August when most trees don't flower. Living in Florida, we have various types. They get pretty flowers but large seed pods so pop up all over the place. None are large trees. Jane
