5000lb? Thats suprising, but I believe you. A 4.6l is just enough for a car the size of an Expedition let alone be towing with it, and yes the 5.4l would make a huge difference in this case. My Explorer has the towing package on it and is rated to tow 7000! So at 3800, I'm just over 1/2 of what it's rated for and pulling the trailer, I can actually out accelerate my 94 Ranger with a 3.0l. I wish I knew more about those '04 Hemi's to give you some better advice, but typically they would mostly still be under warranty so I have not had much exposure to them for servicing. It does stike me as odd that these things are sitting this long unsold. Plus, I remember seeing reports about some tranny issues when towing with the Ram trucks that had to do with lubrication of the hard parts. (Planet assemblies) I spent a few minutes looking for that information exactly but came up empty. That makes it quite likely that I could be thinking of models that are a couple years older. Best bet is to ask the tranny guy at the dealership how these have been holding up, and if there is anything he recommends be added, such as an additional cooler etc.

A Hemi engine (the Hemi?) is named that because the combustion chambers have a hemispherical shape. This is one way of increasing the power that the engine can generate. Quadra-Trac II is Jeep's name for the traction-control system used on their trucks. It manages the amount of power going to each wheel based on how hard you step on the gas or the brake, the amount of traction each wheel has at the moment, etc.

The hissing, spitting, and avoidance is typical of kittens raised in the wild. They were 'wild' cats when they came under your care. For the first week of their lvies, their eyes are closed and they are totally dependent on mother cat for sustance and nesting. Soon after the eyes open, they become aware of differences between mommy and other creatures and their displeaasure toward foriegn creatures begin to appear. If they had no human contact for a month after eye-opening, they can be quite fearful of an invading human: Its a normal behavor. Kittnes two months and older coming into human care can be challenging. It requires much patience and demonstration of gentlenss before they begin to trust you. At first, its best not to 'force' you intentions, but let the animal gradual warm to you and investigate you. In a group of kittens, differences in personality will show and one or two will be quicker to want you attention. When you find this more accepting kitten, you can begin to make use of "cat jealosy". When the entire herd avoids you and acts the same, all is neutral in their pod. But if one begins to get favored and petted, some of the other will want to horn in on the action, and this is when you will begin to break down the natural defence barrier of the group toward you. Often, there will be one that refuses to be fully tamed for a long period. It'll probably the older kitten of the group. When we were children, my sister and I learned the hard way that barn cats can be over-tamed. One year, we had about 8 barn kittens. We handled all of then and made dear pets of them. They trusted us completely and that was the problem. These young kittens became so tame that they did not recognize impending danger if we were present and they failed to get out of the way of inanimate objects - they associated our vehicles with us. We lost one when we climbed aboard a horse drawn wagon. When the wagon began to move, one kitten, hoping to be hoisted aboard, did not get out of the way of a wheel. We found that the over-tamed cats had to be protected. They had lost their survival instinct and would not make good barn cats until some of that wariness returned.

Don't know the guy and was thinking ill of him through most of the reading here but it did just hit me that when I was going to the cabin a lot I would use basically one knife. The fillet knife from my tackle box. Always was super sharp, and cut everything I needed to cook. But at home I don't consider myself on a desert island. I can afford to spare a little room and have a chef's knife, a bread knife, a paring knife or two, some steak knives (although I suppose he considers that in the flatware department) and another I've found extremely handy was called a sandwich knife. I used to carry one with me when I traveled a lot. It was essentially a mini bread knife about the size of a steak knife. Yes it was serrated. The thing that really irritates me about these boobtube buffoons is watching them trying to showoff on their alleged knife "skills" and watch them chop-chop-chop, then drag the knife blade across the cutting board to bring the items together to chop some more. What a perfect way to show people how to ruin their knives. But they don't care, they're trying to sell you knives and they get theirs replaced every couple shows anyway I suppose since they're going to be about as sharp as a bicycle tire
