I am getting to buy a new set of tires for my 94 Cadillac Fleetwood Broughm (rear wheel drive).

The vehicle had 6.35x70R15 tires when new and the previous owner replaced them with 6.35x75R15.

The vehicle rides drives and performs well with the taller tire but I have always followed factory specs.

What difference will i notice in replacing with the smaller tire, if any?

Check your manual or the car's stickers for the correct size as the first figure "6.35" seems to be out of place.
Then the Tire Rack.com has some good info.

The "70" is the aspect ratio; this number is becoming lower and lower in the interest of handling and "perceived style".

Probably the car is better off with the "75" - favoring ride qualities over handling(steering response).

FWIW: changing the tire height from stock (and all other factors being equal) will affect your speedometer calibration.

I've found tractor supply to be a bit expensive on tires. Unless you need new or an extra set of rims why pay extra. I've gotten good prices from internet like stop n go tires. They have free shipping specials on carlisle. I have no affiliation with them other than having bought from them. Summit racing also has good prices on carlisles, but never seen them have any shipping discounts. Hope I'm allowed to recommend sources--didn't check site rules on that.

The pattern is quite common and is used by many manufacturers but you have to be careful of "offset". This is the distance between the very outside of the rim itself and the "center" of the wheel that bolts to the axle. If you get rims with the wrong offset, you might find that they will fit your bolt pattern just fine but the tires will hit the bodywork. The wrong offset in the other direction might change you ability to trim close to obstructions if your deck does not stick way out on each side of the tractors wheels.

They are somewhat undersized. Your speedometer now will be inaccurate (you'll actually be going about 5% slower than the speedometer says you are). And you should check the load range of the tires (it's a number stamped on the side of the tire, like 89H or 75S or somesuch, most likely listed after the size) against the load range that Mazda recommends (it's in your owner's manual or a tire store can tell you). The number on the tire should be the same or larger than Mazda's recommendation. If it is not, you will not be able to carry as much in the car as you may have before.

That definitely should be true about the speedometer/odometer calibration, but I did that on my Blazer (went from 70 to 75 series tires) and if it threw anything off, it's by a very small amount. I used the mile markers on the Interstate to check it and whatever error there is, is too small to detect by that method. The difference between the 70s and the 75s as far as circumference of the tire is probably just not enough to make any difference that matters. Obviously if you went to 10.5 x 31s or something, that'd make a difference.
