That's funny, OA. Having lived most of my life in Southern California I can sympathize with the idea behind the "picnic." I love the food umbrellas and the picnic ware. How original!

OA, I think CA is the only place that has escaped the cold. All my southern friends are freezing!

The table pulls out, then unfolds to make it longer, and then a detachable leg (See it sitting on top of the table in the middle picture.) goes under for support.

There's just my husband and I most of the time now, so it gives me a chance to easily play around with different tablescapes without having to fuss with a larger setting. I've had to spend some time hemming fabric to make the funny shaped tableclothes, but because I just love this little table so much, the hemming has been more a labor of love than a nuisance.

How fun - a picnic! LOL Very cute idea with *everything* included! I almost think even here in the north we could soon have a picnic outside. It's been thawing for days/weeks and the snow is going.

It's almost embarrassing that we're experiencing such beautiful weather.

The ants are little plastic ones. Photoshop is beyond me. I've been going to take a community college beginners course for years, but just haven't gotten around to making the time to do it yet.

A nice surprise to see a picnic setting at this time of year! So cute too with the ants and bug covers! I like the basket of goodies too. Makes me think summer can't be too far away...?

Nice to think about picnics anytime but I'm sure a real treat to those with lots of snow & ice!! I thought maybe they had put the ants on a wire(don't know why they haven't) Love your table!! Weather is supposed to turn on us here in Ca.Sun-tues 3-4 in. rain then by wed. it will be cold very windy(100 mph gusts) & 3-4 in. of rain!! I don't think we have ever had 8 in. of rain in 1 week. Can't imagine the mess!! I put 3 bags of sand at edge of patio & went rest of way with bags of manure(hey, I use what I have)I tried cleaning out my drain under sidewalk on side but only got about 2 ft. quakes must have broken the pipe enough so gopher got it full of dirt!! All the fire stations have sandbags so they must think it will be bad,flood control channels haven't been cleaned in this area for years, homeless live in them.

Sunnyca, you live up in the high desert, don't you? I'm down in Rancho Cucamonga, OA's in Upland. I'm always thankful for any rains we get each year since I hate it if we have water restrictions in the summer. This year I'm a bit worried about some of the burn areas though--hope we get the nice soft rains and no mudslides. (Not in my area, but over where the homes are on the hillsides) The good thing is there will be a few days of rain then the sun will be out again--all's well when the sun shines! ;o) Luvs

How CUTE! and what a fun idea (coming from another who has been freeeezing as of late).
I was at BLs the other day and they had started putting out their spring stuff. One of the first things I noticed was a springy green net cover and thought , do you people realize how coooold it is outside? LOL
I really like the ants on parade and the can of bug spray..lol Fits perfectly.
