Yeah, I consider it SPAM. I use the URL link option pretty often, but you can look at my member page and see that I've been a member for awhile. And I run my mouth so much that wherever I lurk, I end up posting and they get used to seeing me there. I've posted on some of the GW forums where they pretty much ignore me but thankfully that's not the case here or on the Money Saving Tips forum. I visit Money Saving Tips quite a bit and they get quite a few SPAM posts there. Even if it's someone that says, "Hey, visit my blog, here it is", that's still SPAM because they get a little payback whenever anyone clicks on the advertising links on their blog, don't they? We had a guy link his blog on how to can tomatoes on that forum only a few days ago. He made some glaring errors in procedure and the spelling was horrible. I critiqued it and one of the other forum members kinda roasted me for doing it, but I then replied pretty much that he hadn't visited us before and hadn't replied to any of our comments and he did ask for feedback. I was pretty sure his intent was just to advertise his blog, and said in my response to the person who got after me that I was gentle compared to what they would've said to him had he posted on a certain other forum. Not long after that, both his post linking to his blog that was entitled "Save Money by Canning Tomatoes" AND his post linking to his blog entitled "Useful Money Saving Tips" -- which no one had replied to -- were gone. I haven't seen them since. So I don't know if it was because GW decided he was SPAM or whether my comment about the other forum was considered inflammatory. There are a couple of other posts there that are surely SPAM that they haven't done anything about, however. I am very careful about where I go on the Internet. I am also careful about opening e-mails when I don't know the sender. Also, even if I know the sender but I know them to not be very computer literate, I will not open links they send me unless they tell me what the links are and even then maybe not. I have one ex-co-worker who sends me every cutesie little You-Tube URL and all kinds of pictures she finds. I am particularly leery of her attachments and links. Even though I have a firewall and security software, there are always things that get through. Gardenweb, for instance, plants tons of spyware cookies on our computers. I put up with it 'cause I love y'all so...... Also I noticed on the Conversations side of the Seed Trading forum there's information about some woman trying to trade everybody out of their morning glory seeds. Apparently they're hallucinogenic if you chew them. I didn't know that. But no one knows what this woman is really doing with the seeds. Apparently GW has identified her by her ISP address and won't let her post but now she sends e-mails to newbies and gets them to contact people for her.

Find a better salesperson. Anyone with at least a portion of a brain would have told you that A) Baffles are used by restaurants to this day, although most use baffle-less systems. B)Mesh does trap more grease, but you will have to clean them often or they become a fire hazard. C) Broan is the single largest manufacturer of hoods in North America by far, and they also recently bought out zephyr(although they still have separte production facilities), as well as OEM Manufacturing for several High-End companies. D)There is nothing wrong with zephyr, it's a decent hood for the money, not the best but will do the job in the proper conditions

On most occasions pulling to one side or the other after brake work is caused from air in the lines. Thats usually caused by incorrect brake bleeding or lack of it. In your case if it is not a continual thing, I don't believe its air in the lines. It sounds like your sticky piston caliper is still sticking on occassion. What side did they work on and what side is it pulling to??? Ray

Thank you all for you helpful thoughts and experiences. I have learned a lot, perhaps too much about heating and AC systems. I finally decided to go with the company that has serviced my furnace for years. I think all the brands are similar and this salesman returned my calls promptly and answered at least a hundred questions. I thought I was being a big pain, but he asserted that he enjoyed working with someone who had questions and was interested. This was better than boring shoppers who "don't care". I went with a better furnace and a mid line AC because I believe that when it craps out, the industry standards and engineering will have changed significantly. And I won't be there!
