Tomorrow is Feb! Dining Room Valentine Decor

Worked on some Valentine decor on these cold, snowy days here in IA ...this photo was taken with the vine tree lit up last night:

I added more ornaments like the stained glass hearts to the vine tree from Christmas ~~lots of sparkles!

The table centerpc is a thrift shop plate w/one of my Boy/Girl vases added ...the silk scarf (or napkin) w/hearts was a TS find today for $1& also added some red glass hearts:

Dollbaby got a new (old) outfit I found for her a few weeks ago ...a jogging suit of sorts ...but was perfect for Val Day ... black knit-jean style pants & hearts/swirlies on the hoodie!

I have received mine. I actually got it about a week ago. We have really been getting hit with flooding this week after those 8 foot banks of snow melted back the day we actually got a 60 degree day. I haven't gotten around to posting that I received it. Our basement flooded and we are having septic problems from the water tables being so high. I did let Tina know by email as soon as I got it to thank her. It is now cold again so things are back to normal for us. Tina sent a fabulous box and was very thoughtful about everything she sent. She actually baked me cookies-which were very good!!! I think they lasted maybe the day in this house. they were chocolate chip! I loved this because I never get to bake anymore now that we are starting a major kitchen redo. Tina also sent my kids hot cocoa. Came in handy big time as I kept getting scolded by my 7 year old that there wasn't anymore and I kept forgetting ot run out to get some. It is now snowing again and half the box is already gone from playing outside. Can't play outside without coming in to hot cocoa! She sent me flavored coffee! I just love my cup of joe. Yes I am a coffee junkie. I have already sampled that as you could imagine. The last of the treats was a box of those yummy new hershey dark chocolates with the blueberries and other fruits. Very yummy! These I kept out for myself. Now for the other goodies...tina sent not one but two toad houses! My daughter snagged one right away for her zoo garden. She let me keep the one with the snail on it cause she knows I like snails. She also sent very nice bath stuff with a handmade washcloth-that has already been used as well,a yummy smelling cinnabun candle, and a very nice card. Thank you again Tina for a wonderful box. I think I am going down to make some more of that coffee. Snowing again today with 6 inches and more. Well we had spring for a day at least. Maybe I will wintersow some things today.~Heather

I posted on your blog, OA...a "memorable movie" but NOT romantic! LOL! MY fav movie is Gone with the Wind ...1939 came out (before my time)...so I don't remember the 1st time I saw it...but I've loved it ever since...hopefully plan on doing a t'scape for Academy Awards later in Feb. Oh punk, I've enjoyed your V-posts! TJ is just so adorable in this pic w/her tray-scape! She definitely is a 'pink' person! Love the lil' tea sets & her heart message. Now, you know what I love the most here ...that pine pitcher, of course! You had to be thinking of me when you bought it! Tee hee! Anyway, it looks great on the side table/buffet(?) w/all the 'red' decor ...& those 'birdies, too...candlesticks, stacked plates, EVERYTHING! & your DM's cross-stitch memory! The other buffet you decorated for your Mom...just so SWEET! That lil' angel girl & your garlands & candlelight! So good to celebrate the love of your Mom! The purple flower arrangement is GORGEOUS! Jeanne, it's all beautiful. Your tree is so pretty. I've never seen those little birds while shopping but they sure are cuties. Your rose pic framed with the candles and goblet look so nice on your shelf. Frou's heart she sent you is so pretty and I always enjoy seeing it. Speaking of Frou, where is she? The red glass hearts on your tree are so pretty too. Love to hear you found more goodies. Love it even more that your using them! Your new JB covered bowl was a great find and goes so well with all your other wht dishes. I also love your book, jar of buttons and boy/girl vintage vase. Will be fun to see TJ, your buffet and dining table all decorated. You must be so tired from all the work you've done lately. Washing all those dishes takes time but is worth it afterwards. I just bought a little bunny with a cabbage leaf and broke it today. Had DGD here and was trying to clean up in a hurry. I'm going to try and glue the bunny back to the bowl before tossing it.Sigh I don't know if you remember my twig mailbox. I keep thinking I should bring it in again from the shed and enjoy it on one of my buffets. I use to have it up for Christmas and Valentines day. Hope I didn't donate it. Punk

Oh, it's all beautiful, Jeanne! That new (old) outfit for your doll baby is adorable. And I just love your decorated vine tree in every single season. I was bad and never even got around to putting all the new decor on my vine trees for xmas! :(

I'm so happy to get to February because it means there's a little less winter to face. :) We've been having a strange winter here... lots of snow and plenty of extreme cold, but we've also had two stretches of unusually warm weather in January that have melted almost all the accumulated snow each time. Luckily, yesterday was one of those days where it got to 55F and rained all day, so we'll be starting Feb. without much snow on the ground. I can't remember that ever happening before! and if that rain from yesterday had been in the form of snow I'd be griping miserably right now. LOL!

Just beautiful Jeanne!
One of my FAVORITE times when you decorate for V Day.
You know how I feel about your Vine tree and it's looking
more beautiful everytime you show it in ALL it's splender!
Great Vignette on the Buffet..Waaaaa! you have the lid to
the Independence Coffee Pot..lol. Remember when I got that
whole set for $5 but w/o the coffee pot lid? Anyway,
love seeing yours set out so pretty. The sweet boy and girl couple
looks so cute on your table..Gives you the feeling
'Love Is In The Air'....!
Also Dollbaby looks especially adorable in her new/old
outfit..and yes perfect for V Day.
I think she's waiting so patiently to eat her Chocolate! lol

Its all fabulous and Rosemary is gonna be jealous that Dollbaby has a V-day outfit and she doesn't! Waaah!
I'm not going to tell her, LOL
Vine tree is always super and I especially like the little white bird nestling in there!

Jeanne, everytime I think DollBaby's outfits can't get any cuter, you go and prove me wrong. That is the most adorable little Valentine "jogger" ever...or would be if she could get out of that high chair. LOL.

And what a neat find in the scarf with the hearts, its perfect there.
You know how we all love seeing your vine tree decorated, and it definitely is a stand-out each Valentine's.
Everything looks so pretty!

I have to just say "ditto" to everyones comments. It all looks so pretty and your boy/girl vase is just so sweet. This is "almost" getting me in the mood to dig out a few VD items. (Probably seeing one or two more will do it. hint hint.) LOL

Ok, luvs...here's one or two more ...to get you in Val decor mood! LOL! Here's a heavy duty vine heart wreath I bought @local non-profit store that benefits laborers in other countries ... I wrapped some red braid around it & hung it on the backside of kitchen cupboard (across the room from the buffet)in dining room. I like it ...but would like to find some 'burlap' ribbon & maybe do some words or heart-stamping on it for the wreath.

And I printed some old valentines from a book I have ... & added to that mirrored wall hanger ... it's new a couple yrs ago & I love changing out the decor in it!

Jeanne, everything is just gorgeous all decorated for
Valentines Day. Maybe I'm late jumping on here so I
didn't miss any pics. I think we all agree that your style
is the Bomb! So many pretty hearts displayed.
Like Luvs, I too am hoping after all this inspiration
I will kick it in gear and get decorating.

Dollbaby is adorable in her heart jacket. TJ will be
jealous too over that outfit.LOL I'll have to get her
dressed also. I'm sure DGD would have something w/hearts
if I asked. You know pin the back (thanks for sharing)
and it doesn't matter if it's the right size.
