Comments (4)Is it not moving off the floor or are you just moving it around? I had a combination of dirt and drywall dust and the best way I found was a squeegee. I would dump a little soapy water on the floor, mop and then squeegee the water and the dust to the other end. Then shopvac it up water and dirt all together. Try a test spot and see....See MoreCleaning up drywall dust
Comments (10)Santa should bring a shop vac with a fine particulates filter geared for fine dusts such as drywall. A trick i saw in a magazine is to attach fender washers on either side of the vac sweep nozzle so that it holds the nozzle up off of the floor a tad as well as makes it easier to roll around. By keeping it up off the floor a bit, it wont be pushing the product around on the floor, but rather sweeping it in the nozzle. Biggest thing is the fine particulates filter that is typically an option with most shop vacs. We are happy with our ridgid shop vac, the fine particulates filter was about 5 bucks, absolutely no dust kicking out of the unit, but you do have to clean it often which is not that big a deal, imo....See MoreCleaning Drywall Dust on Floor (Vinyl) - Help Would Be So Appreciated

I put the solution on the floor with the wet setting and pick it up with the dry setting which turns the scrubbing brushes off. It leaves my floors both vinyl and tile spotless and nearly dry....See MoreDrywall dust in a new condo
Comments (5)If there is active construction happening, the ducts may need to be cleaned once the construction is complete. Dust easily makes its way into the air system and is going to continue to be circulated. You could try an air purifier in the mean time to clean the air inside your condo....See Morebus_driver
