I have tried the Pascal Brizo faucet a few times in a showroom where it was installed and working. It is a great concept and honestly works really well. I tested it for 15 minutes or so and it really did work perfectly with the touch on/off and also with the hands free. Also, I think you can turn everything off and it work just like a regular faucet. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think it is the case. You can definitely turn off the hands-free feature. I tried this myself and it was easy.

The pulldown head works well and has a twist-lock mechanism to secure it to the faucet. For me, that was very important because the pulldowns that don't go back all the way are bad.

The finish is nice although it is a bit on the bronze colored side of stainless steel compared to some other brands. It is a big faucet and the soap dispenser and on/off lever are big too.

I was really close to buying one and decided not to. I'm buying a Delta Allora faucet becuase it seems like the quality is there for a better price. I also really like the magnetic piece that attaches the pulldown sprayer to the faucet. This, to me, seems like an ideal solution. The twist lock is good too, but you have to line it up perfectly to attach it. I'm sure you get used to it, but I think the magnet is a better solution.

I tried it at the showroom and was impressed, but didn't go that route because I really wanted a bridge faucet. I am getting a Tapmaster installed so that I will have the handsfree function; have you considered that? You can use it with any faucet.

I have actually tried it at a showroom, for about 2 minutes on my way to the airport (no one in Fairbanks Alaska stocks them). It seemed really neat, but they had no data on reliability or longer term satisfaction. I will check your idea, north40mom, thanks.
