Thank you so much for the information. When I raise the caudex do I need to put it in a different pot or can I use the same pot? I transplanted from the original pot to this one and have kept it there. I have done nothing to my Adendium since I re-potted it to this pot about a year ago. I used Miracle Grow soil (regular not for cactus) and it seems to be doing good, except for the spider mites. If I were to prune it back what stems should I cut and where ? I seen that I should not prune while its flowering, where I'm at in Florida it blooms almost all the time so what is your suggestion?

Fire ants make mounds and not holes. The mounds start out small and become larger as the colony population increases. These mounds look rather innocent until you disturb them, and ALL of the ants boil out of the mound all at once. Again, there is never a discernible hole. I never worry about ants in my yard and garden, other than fire ants. Fire ants can be a problem for humans, pets, bird nests, beneficial insect eggs and larvae, and such.

Couple of strong guys and an appliance hand truck and you should be fine. Don't let the weight and difficulty of a one-time move put you off cast iron - it's worth the effort! A buddy and I wrestled a 320lb cast iron tub by hand up a "winder" staircase for my remodel project just last weekend. I wouldn't want to do it again but I'm glad we stayed with the cast iron. (My buddy wasn't too amused when I called him the next day and told him that we needed to return the tub because it was the wrong model - can't understand why he lost his sense of humor over a little ole bathtub.) We have been using the Polaris 280 for years now. It's based on the original model 180 from the 70's. It's the only cleaner we install on all new builds or reno projects. The 3900 is essentially the same except for a chain drive system. The pool filter must be clean and allowed to deliver the proper flow to the booster pump for proper operation. I would check is the ball float attached at the top-looks like a tiny football. Often the ball cracks and water gets in which affects the cleaner's operation. Disconnect the cleaner and put in on the deck. Try manually turning the left front wheel to see if the opposite wheel is engaged. If not, an adjustment to engage the wheel may be necessary. Make sure the wall fitting screen is clear of any debris. Clogged screens impede water flow and affect operation. Make sure the bottom of the cleaner is not jammed up with kids toys, swim goggles, etc... There's a jet at the back bottom to allow the cleaner to climb the walls or keep it on the pool floor. Generally is set around the 11 o'clock position. Attached is the link to Polaris's site on the 3900. You can view the owner's manual. It's more descriptive and shows illustrations. There's also a troubleshooting section. If you're really in a jam, the support tech hot line is available to homeowners too. https://www.polarispool.com/en/products/pressure/polaris-3900
