You HAVE to see this!

I think I may have found my long lost tablescapin', organized hoardin' sister! You just have to see all of her tablscaping decor, throughout all levels of her home and how she keeps it all organized! I showed this post to my DH in hopes he sees that, even though I have a lot of stuff, I am not this bad!

Just like someone commented on her blog - I'm Speechless!
She's amazingly organized and I guess if she wasn't that would be a major problem with so many collections.
I definitely will be showing this to my DH too...like your's he thinks I'm bad but I'm sure after seeing this, hopefully he'll think differently.

Awesome, but I would have warmed up that engine for at least a minute before throwing the load to it. A snowblower is not something you find in my area, even though we can have snowy winters once in awhile. Typically, our snow is wet and heavy. It's also a lot more slippery than dry powder. Sometimes we get an ice storm first, then the snow. At that point you basically stay home.

The first time I tried it, there was nothing--I got to doors, but nothing happened. Then finally a problem came up on the door, but I had no idea what to do after throwing the snail balls (I didn't know you were supposed to type in the number answer). It's pretty simple once the stuff works--you run into the snails, which then turn into balls you can throw at the door. Then you have to type in the numeral that is the answer to the problem on the door. After that, the door opens up and an ogre comes out. The multiplication problem(s) appear on his front and you have so much time in which to type in the answer. If you answer wrong, he blasts you with his club thing. After you give the correct answer(s) several times, he goes back behind the door and a key appears, which you grab by running into it. After you do this at several doors, you go on to the next level. That's as far as I know :) We've played this game with dd doing the keyboard and me manipulating the mouse. That has worked well so far. She's still trying to get used to pushing the right number key(s), which is hard for her to do quickly.

Beanie, with a flu relapse, I managed to drag my viral-self over to youtube to see the video. It made me forget how icky I'd been feeling [G] I have to say, the car was certainly cool. I love doing cake sculptures, yet I've never been commissioned to do anything life-size. So I can only imagine what a painstaking feat that sculpture must've been for the crew. As a decorator, the thought of baking that many layers of cake would've driven me to Meth. But, the carving and decorating aspect would've given me a heck of a childish thrill, I can tell you. We celebrated Thumper's birthday last Saturday, and I had to bake him a cake according to his specifications. I'm currently working on Sam's birthday cake which is two days away, so I'll be pretty much caked out, by the time this is all over. Thank you RenÃÂ©e for thinking of me! Sol

OK I actually had eggs boiling when I read this post the first time....so, when I pulled them off the burner of my lovely Wolf range, (mentioned so the moderator believe this belongs here) I dropped in the baking soda prior to the ice. Well, it does work! And, my DH and DS love it! Especially the DS - although neither of them could do it. It's harder after they've been in the frig for a few days, but still works and it's a lot easier than the regular way. Now, I wouldn't do it for guests or for salads or something that was going to sit a while, but for my little guy for breakfast or a snack, no problem. I figure we breathe in each others faces multiple times a day anyway- ha!!! Overall, the baking soda does make the shells come off a great deal easier, nice trick! Thanks for the post!

Oh my heavens!! She has really got the stuff, doesn't she? The one thing I have to give her is that she has it all totally organized. But who could possibly use all of that?? Amazing....

She sure has a lot of places to store her "stuff" and a boatload of stuff. Kudos to her on the organization, but I can't imagine she is able to use all of it.
I feel like an amateur, LOL, and even though I don't have nearly what she has, I have dishes I have not been able to use yet.

Wow! That was facinating! And here I sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed at the excess in my little home! I have nothing, I repeat, nothing, compared to her! LOL

She sure has some great storage spaces too, loved her use of every possible cupboard and closet. Had to laugh when I saw she even had dishes in the bathroom cabinets too. ;o)

Talk about "enabling", and "collecting" and she's a perfect example. LOL

She is so funny. She used to own a rental business and she is now teaching a class in Tablescaping at a local college I think.

WOW from here too! OMG... beautiful house and BEAUTIFUL storage!!! I wonder if she uses it -- or just organizes and stores it! The candle shelves look like something from in a store! She looks fun too. :)

Kathe, this was great to see. She seems like one fun lady. Wish she was my neighbor and I'd never have to shop again if she believes in sharing. Seriouly, I enjoyed seeing all of this.

Makes me want to stop while I'm ahead tho.LOL

kathleen_li; what a relief to hear she once owned a business. I was seriously worried for her and her people. My motto is when your STUFF takes over your life it is time to let go of it!!
