When you can build in a standard depth refrigerator, what s the point of the expense of going to a built in that isn't that disguised to begin with? Sure, a fully integrated fridge is a HUGE visual difference, but a standard built it, not so much. Standard regular depth refrigerater "built in". It's not difficult to design your kitchen with extra deep counters or to recess a regular fridge to achieve this look. And you get a LOT more storage. Built in. (Doesn't fool anyone and costs a lot extra.) Fully integrated. The whole reason to pay for an upgraded "invisible" fridge. It's playing hide and seek and removes itself from the appliance category into the furniture one. (It's the mirrored cabinet, fully invisible.) (The "armoire" is the fridge.)

We are looking for a 30" built-in fridge for our kitchenette, and seem to have narrowed it down to: Sub-Zero BI-30U Miele KF 1811 SF Liebherr C 1651 Unfortunately, I can not find the prices online for neither Miele nor Sub-Zero, but Liebherr is quoted at about $4800. I'm sure, the others will be more... Sub-Zero, actually, has one feature going for it (besides being American-made)  the compressors are on the top. This means, that while being the same height, more of the usable interior is reachable to a short person. My significant other is 5' tall, so this is a concern... But if it is as hard to open as comments suggest ("shoulder dislocation" is already mentioned here), then she may prefer Liebherr anyway, and just surrender the top shelf to me... Miele is an enigma, though  any feedback on that? Thanks! Yours, doofus

Live_wire is exactly right, the 3/4" backer is the panel, the drawer and door are appliques. They would be ordered as is they were ordinary door/drawer fronts for a regular 24" cabinet. The Bosch will still work if recessed the extra 3/4" because they are so very shallow to begin with. The Bosch instructions give the dimensions, but I'd make the flat panel 23 3/4" wide and 29 3/4" tall. The height can be further reduced along the bottom edge and touched-up on site without too much angst. The doors would by sized "typical" because you want them to match the rest of the kitchen, and they would be aligned into proper position by the installer, working on-site, with the backer mounted. (then take the backer off and attach the door from behind with screws).

Here is one and you can click through to the rest: We had not really furnished at this point so the pillows, table, chairs are not mine, and the pix do not show my favorite things, the knobs and the curtains: On the Marmoleum, I chickened out on Relaxing Lagoon and went with Volcanic Ash. (Although I did put Relaxing Lagoon in my laundry along with some crazy pink curtains and love it.) Feel free to ask any questions if you want specifics on anything.
