GE Monogram
Comments (14)We just purchased a home that has one of those "appliance packages" obviously, because everything is GE Monogram. We have been here 3 weeks and the house was built in '05. DO NOT buy GE Monogram! Our refrigerator compressor is out...$1675 that isn't covered (of course) by the warranty. The stove is a gas cooktop with 4 burners and a grill in the middle, that's marginal at best. I have ordered another range to go there, but it's not installed yet. There is a wall over/microwave combo that's just ok. I mostly am upset at the attitude of the Monogram people....wow. I'm just very disappointed in their service and their attitude. Clearly it said on the warranty that the compressor was covered and they will not honor it in any way. I just refuse to give them a good report. For the long haul, definitely go with the Wolf or do more research!...See MoreGE Monogram Line - Do you like yours?
Comments (7)We have a GE Monogram 36" 6-burner range and an Advantium oven. Love them both. The Advantium is super easy to use, it is a microwave, speed cook oven and also has a convection bake function. The range is all gas, the oven bakes very evenly, it has two glide out shelves and a regular rack. The burners can simmer really low. My only complaint is I wish one of the burners was smaller for smaller pots and pans. They put out a lot of heat which I feel when stirring. They've been installed 4 months so I haven't used all the functions yet. So far I am very happy with our choice....See MoreWorth buying a used 2008 GE Monogram 36" dual fuel range?
Comments (3)I think I have that one. Mine is 2008 4 burner duel fuel with a grill. It was actually a rebranded DCS at that time from what my appliance guy said. I LOVE my range and will take it with me when I move. The burners are 18k btu each-the simmer is amazing as well. My only complaint is a common one with most bakers is that I have uneven heating in the oven, even on convection. But I just have to rotate pans and keep them from the back right corner. I paid $6500 for it in 2008 if that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions....See MoreGE Monogram Refrigerator any good
Comments (3)We just got our 48” delivered and moved into the house today (ZISS480DNSS). Over $11,000 after tax, shipping and handles. We haven’t even plugged it in yet but the doors are plumb (side to side and can’t be adjusted) the ice maker is made of cheap plastic, and after taking it off to clean it all the screws and interior bits are rusted and it’s brand new? The tolerances on the top distribution plate for the freezer is off by about 1/2” and it’s all beginning to rust. I’m calling Monogram tomorrow because for $11,000 which is EXACTLY the same as their 48” GE Cafe and Profile lines for $8,050 and $9,000 respectively (you can even swap the handles to monogram handles, they use the same mounting system and points) I would expect better build quality, it’s worse than my $699 budget bargain garage side by side. As far as first impressions go, I’m not recommending you get one. Spend the few extra bucks and get in line for a SubZero or Miele....See Moretimwalker69
