Mine does the same, toddlerchaser. It happens right when the thing first kicks on and last for a couple of minutes before it settles down. SInce my F&P is headed out the door, like Monday, I can only tell you could have it looked at, but you'll probably get the "that's totally normal" statement thrown at you. Maybe it is normal. For Fisher & Paykel. But I'm not sure it's normal for all refrigerators. I'm sorry I can't offer more encouragment than that. I'm pretty put-out with F&P right now (which is why I am so EXCITED to be rid of this refrigerator come Monday).

I ended up with a GE Cafe counter depth...it works, just doesn't have that sleek look I was after. It too was a tight fit, but seems to be working fine getting its' air from the top. Did not want to risk voiding the warranty on the F&P.. I'm happy with the performance of the GE (but the stainless smudges ALOT (teenage son has much to do with that). Miele dishwasher and dual fuel Wolf range....nothing matches, but nothing is beside each other and it really doesn't bother me...and each appliance works great, so I guess that's the important thing. Love the look of that F&P though.

"I set the fridge to 34 degrees Celsius" You mean 34 degrees fahrenheit. You'd be cooking the food at 34 degrees celsius. I put one of these Elitech RC-5 USB Temperature Data Logger in my refrigerator to see how it was performing. The Elitech GSP-6G Digital Temperature Humidity Data Logger with Detachable Buffered Probe would be a better choice as you could view the internal termperature without opening the door and the buffered problem would, I think, prevent rapid (and misleading) changes in readings when one did open a door for a few seconds. You could move the probes to various locations inside the refrigerator.
