you might try downloading IE8 again and reinstall it over the one that you have it may fix any corrupted files. Have you tried clearing all of the cache and cookies and history on your IE that may help also. here is the download link for IE8 Internet Explorer 8 you really need a good working Ie since you need it to get windows updates since you are on xp still. How do I clear my web browser's cache, cookies, and history? that link tells how to do those things on all browsers. Firefox is very easy to use and as mentioned you can add many add ons that help with various things. One I always use is the ad block plus with easylist to stop all the annoying ads on these pages. Feel free to ask for help with learning a new browser.

Think everyone has it & can make it happen by flexing something back where the ear enters the throat cavity. I also tried once to explain (difficult to do, isn't it?!)to the ENT doctor what I was curious about & he said it was normal but I don't believe he gave it a name either. Swallowing at times will do it but usually it is flexing some muscles on either side of the throat/ear inside. I assume the clicking is on both sides? Mine is. Interesting though, isn't it?! I do also have tinnitis though but don't believe it has anything to do with the 'clicking'. SO.... it is perfectly normal I understand & I'd assume everyone has it or can do it!

I'm so ignorant about electricity-related items, that I'm not sure I can give correct answers, but I'll try: There had been a light switch there but I don't think the fan switched there (hard to remember). The fan used to have just one switch by the bed. The switch looks nothing like the link you sent. It's the more conventional type of on/off (up/down); there are 2 switches in the location of concern. The 2nd is for the room lights (sconces), which are not part of the fan. No dimmers. What concerns me most is that I told the electrician about a previous click, and he was so nonchalant when he told me the wires were crossed with the fireplace. I could swear he fixed it, but it's either back or never went away. The electric inspection passed, FWIW.

We are living in Costa Rica and have inherited a whirlpool washer model number 7EWTW1300YM0 that has many issues. The current one is serious. After adding an item mid filling cycle and shutting the lid the washer would not restart and ever since (when plugged and replugged) will click lock, click unlock, click lock, click unlock with the red lid locked light flashing. Eventually it stops but the machine is paralyzed with nothing but the red lid lock light on. I think the most pertinent information is I have run the diagnostic tests and with the Auto test everything is working fine. The error codes seem to change every time I fiddle with it but the original two were F5E1 and F5E3 both lid switch and locking and unlocking errors. When I go to the manual testing, the locking mechanism works fine lock, unlock no problem. When going to page 18 in the manual for Test #8 Lid Lock J15 appears to be in working order though it seems that the only issue can be a malfunction of the control panel (and J15) as the locking mechanism works (when checked manually). So after we unplug and re plug the machine.....click lock, click unlock, click lock and click unlock and nothing. Being in rural Costa Rica it is not easy to find parts so if that was the path that I must take I really want to be sure that it is the right part! Please help if you can as I have read so many similar posts but none seem to be able to help solve our problem.
