oven under induction, help!

Hi all,

So maybe I am the dumbest person on the planet, but somehow I missed that clearance under an induction cooktop is an issue...

So now the cabinets and counters are in- the cooktop is installed, and last night I'm looking at the heat shield thinking its placement is going to make installing the oven a bit tight.

Today I go back to the Kitchenaid site, review the specs and dimensions which I've seen a hundred times, then I come across a line I haven't seen before... 'ovens cannot be installed under this unit.'

Oh $&!)$(*)!($*$!)($*!

So what happens if I go ahead and install the oven anyway? Will I burn the house down? Will the induction fail? (It doesn't even get warm underneath when we use it) Will I just invalidate the warranty? Is there any modification I can make to make this situation work?

What now? Any help most welcome.
