Linda Lou's Apple Pie Jam 4 cups tart apples, peeled and finely chopped 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice 4 cups sugar 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 1 box pectin 1/2 teaspoon butter Add water to chopped apples to measure 4 cups. Place apples and water into large, heavy saucepan. Stir in lemon juice, cinnamon and allspice. Measure sugars. Stir pectin into fruit. Add butter. Bring mixture to full rolling boil on high heat, stirring constantly. Quickly stir in both sugars. Return to full rolling boil and boil exactly 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim off any foam with metal spoon. Ladle quickly into hot, clean jars, leaving 1/4" headspace. Wipe jar rims and threads. Cover with two-piece lids. Screw bands on finger tight. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

Hello, I am looking to gather three quotes for our backyard project at our new home built by Lennar in Loma Linda. I need the following: 1- Patio covering with curtains or other bug solutions. 2- Ground either cement or pavers. 3- artificial turf or hardscaping ideas are welcome but I want to plant trees too. We are ready to start this month once your quote is ready. You can go to the property to take measurements in order to provide the quote anytime with our permission as our house is the first to be released on that street. As I was looking for posts of this recipe before it was posted in this thread, I saw that there is a part missing to this recipe...it seems they leave out to allow the rolls to rise before baking. I found the recipes posted a bunch of times and always leaves out allowing the rolls to rise until doubled in size. Is this a necessary step or do you not have to do that? Someone actually asked about it and some other person besides linda said to allow to rise first....I would like to hear this from linda herself.
